Chapter Three

  May 20, 2017     "Eunji-ah! I missed you! It's been a long time, how are you and Baekhyun? I'm glad he convinced you to work here again!" Luhan said and hugged his long time friend, it's been a long time. Four years. Since, their friendship too, was affected by that incident. Everything was damaged and nearly broken that time.. But everyone knew that no one wants that to happen.     It's not like Eunji wished for that to happen, she was just confused that time. Neither did Luhan nor Sehun forced her.. and Baekhyun didn't thought that's gonna happen.     Eunji just stared at her old friend and smiled a bit. Truth to be told, she doesn't know how to face him or anyone else after what happened. She never stopped blaming herself, and locking herself out. It's like, if Baekhyun can't forgive her, nobody can.     Luhan sighed, he thought that she finally recovered, but it seems like he's wrong. Was the wound really that deep that even four years can't heal it?  

 

"I'm telling you Sehun-ah, Eunji is really here, working." Luhan told at the man who was in front him. He just came back from a business trip. After what happened four years ago, Sehun too, distanced himself. The guilt of the tragedy that occured because of his stupid suggestion was too much. He blamed Baekhyun for what happened and event beat him to pulp when he arrived, but that was not enough to clear his conscience, if it did anything, it just made everything worse.     "Is she.. Doing well?" he asked trying to mask his concern, but his voice and eyes shows worry for his best friend, his little sister.     "Physically yes.. But I think she's still emotionally scarred." Luhan sighed, and Sehun took a sip from his bubble tea. Then ,Luhan's phone suddenly rang.     "Mr. Xi, Ms. Jung was confined to the hospita-"      "WHAT?! Oh.. Okay.. I'll be there.. Take care of her.. Did you contact her fiance? What?! Okay.. I'll be there in 10 minutes.." Luhan shook his head and gritted his teeth while Sehun looked at him in confusion.     "The hospital called. They told me that Eunji was confined, and.. Baekhyun asked the hospital to call me instead.."     "What? That guy never change.. What matters now is that we have to go to Eunji.. She needs us, because her pathetic boyfriend is still as pathetic as ever." Sehun muttered, Luhan nodded. They immediately went to their respective cars and drove to the hospital.     While driving, Sehun's mind can't helpt but replay the events four years ago. Salty tears started to form on his eyes. Everything that happened was a nightmare, and just thinking about that tore his heart and brought fear to his mind.      He wiped the tears using his backhand as he stopped at the hospital, he went inside, without waiting for Luhan and asked the receptionist where Eunji is..  He walked to the elevator, but it's still blinking, so without thinking, he run towards the stairs and asked for the directions of Eunji's room. He stopped in front of the door of her room as he muttered, "Deja vu"     This is the same hospital where Eunji was confined four years ago..   The same room..   The same scenario..     His heartbeat raced as he hold the door knob and opened it, holding his breath in the process. He sighed deeply when he saw that she was awake, and was looking at the window pea
