"Come on oppa!” Yumi begged through the phone. “Mrs Woo is making Galbi. I haven had that in ages!” Yumi used her best aegyo voice to convince her brother that it was okay for her to stay for dinner at Kevin’s house. As always Yumi won and got her way. “Thank you Hoon! I love you!” Yumi hung up and put her phone back in her pocket. She walked into the kitchen where Mrs Woo and Kevin were cooking. “I would love to stay for dinner.” Yumi said with a cheerful voice as she stood by the kitchen counter. Mrs Woo gave a warm smile. “Wonderful.” Yumi smiled back as she walked over next to Kevin. “Can I help?” Kevin nodded while giving her some things to chop. “I’m glad you’re staying a while longer.” Yumi just looked down to the vegetables while blushing slightly. “Me too.” She said with a barely noticeable voice, but Kevin heard it clearly and smiled. “What is wrong with me? I’m tutoring her in math, not trying to hook up with her! This is so not like me.”

Dinner went by in good conversation and Yumi liked the family feeling Mrs Woo gave off. Her and Hoon lost their parents about 5 years ago and were now living by themselves. Yumi loved living with her brother but at the same time she really missed her parents living there too. “So Yumi.” Mrs Woo said. Yumi turned her attention to Mrs Woo with a smile. “How is my Kevin doing?” Kevin looked at his mother with a -stop it- look. “Well he’s a lot better than my previous tutors.” Yumi said as she took a sip of water. “He captures my interest, something the others couldn’t really do.” Kevin looked over at Yumi as he smiled to himself. Mrs Woo nodded and looked at Kevin. “This is good news, now that you want to be a teacher.” Kevin just smiled at his mother. Yumi tilted her head. “You want to be a teacher?” Kevin nodded. “I want to teach kids but probably not in math.” Yumi chuckled a bit. “How can you be this good in math if you don’t like it?” Kevin shrugged and answered with a proud tone. “Natural talent.” Yumi frowned while Kevin just smiled. “What? I can’t help being good.” Kevin flashed a cheeky smile as he winked to Yumi, which made her blush.

“Thank you for dinner Mrs Woo´, it was great.” Yumi said as she put on her jacket. “You are welcome dear. Please visit us again soon.” Yumi nodded and put on her sandals. Mrs Woo gave Yumi a warm hug and went back into the kitchen to clean up. Yumi looked at Kevin and flashed a breathtaking smile. “Thank you for today pretty boy sunbae.” Kevin made a cute pouty face. “Ya!” Yumi laughed. Kevin couldn’t stay mad for long and replaced the pout with a smile. “You did well.” Kevin gave her a thumps up to as his smile grew bigger. “Let’s meet next week as well. What do you say to Saturday?” Yumi nodded and took out her phone so she could write it down in the calendar. When Yumi saw the time her eyes got big. “Oh no!” She exclaimed. Kevin made a worried face. “What is it? Is Saturday a bad day?” Yumi shook her head. “No that’s fine. It’s just…” Yumi paused as she bit down on her bottom lip. “Hoon is going to kill me!” Kevin was confused now and walked to her side. “What is it then?” Yumi looked up at Kevin with a pouty face. “I missed the last bus home and it’s way too far to walk.” Kevin looked down at her. “Oh.” Yumi threw her head back. “Aish! I’m so dead!” Mrs Woo came out form the kitchen as she heard the fuss. “What is going on out here?” Kevin looked at his mother with worried eyes. “Yumi missed her last bus home and her brother is very protective.” Yumi stomped her foot. “He’s going to be so worried now.” Mrs Woo made a thinking expression. “You can stay the night here. I’ll talk to your brother so he won’t be worried.” Yumi looked like a little worried child. “Would you really do that? I mean my brother is kind of a…. Handful.” Mrs Woo nodded. “I’ll rather talk to your brother then having you walk home at this hour.” Yumi made a sweet smile. “Thank you, thank you and thank you!” Mrs Woo gave a warm smile as she walked back to the kitchen. Kevin glared to Yumi as she took her sandals and jacket off again. “S-she is sp-spending the night… Good lord!”

“I may have lied to your brother.” Mrs Woo said as she entered the living room. Yumi gave a confused look. “I told him you would be using our guest room but we don’t have one.” Yumi tilted her head. “Why didn’t you just say I was using a couch?” Mrs Woo shook her head. “I will not let a young pretty girl sleep on a bloody couch.” Yumi held back a laugh as she saw how serious Mrs Woo were about the matter. “You are sharing Kevin’s room.” Yumi’s body froze. “I, I really have no problem with using the couch.” Kevin looked at Yumi and then to his mother. “Mom… Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean it’s not proper for us to sleep in the same room.” Mrs Woo waved her hands to decline them. “You two are sharing a room and that is final. I trust that you are both responsible young adults.” Mrs Woo walked out as Yumi and Kevin just sat stunned back. “I should’ve just walked home.”

“Well since it’s Friday.” Kevin started as they walked up the stairs. “Would you like to watch a movie or something? It’s still a bit too early to go to sleep.” Yumi just nodded as she followed Kevin to his room. “Of course we could also study more.” Yumi made a big x with her arms. “NO WAY!” Kevin chuckled at her quick response. “I’m a fed up with math for the rest of this weekend.” She sat down on Kevin’s bed. “Woah.. Your bed is really good!” Yumi made a little jump as she looked pleased. Kevin just looked at her and shook his head in amusement. “Can I sleep with one of your stuffed toys tonight?” Yumi asked as she picked up a blue teddy bear from Kevin’s bed and played with it. Kevin nodded while smiling. “Which movie?” Kevin held up three different movies, Lion King, Phantom of the opera and Footloose. Yumi looked at Kevin with a raised eyebrow. “What a weird mix.” Kevin looked at the movies. “What? These are all good.” Yumi chuckled. “Phantom of the opera. That’s the only one I haven’t seen.” Kevin nodded and turned to the TV he had in his room.

“This is a bit wired.” Yumi said as she sat next to Kevin on his bed. Kevin turned his attention to Yumi with a confused look. “I normally don’t talk to my tutors and stuff. I just show up and then leave.” Kevin rested his head in his palm. “I don’t want to be the kind of tutor who is indifferent towards the people I tutor. I want people to be comfortable with me.” Yumi nodded. “Well you are doing great then. I feel really comfortable around you… But… Spending a night at your tutor’s house is weird no matter how you look at it.” Kevin sighed. “Yeah, it’s kind of awkward, wait what? You like being around me?” Yumi looked away as Kevin searched her face for her reaction. “I didn’t say that. I said I was comfortable around you.” Her voice was low and shy. Yumi glanced over at Kevin and saw him smiling like an idiot. “Why is he smiling like that?”

“Would you like some snacks or something?” Kevin asked. Yumi didn’t hear him because she was lost in the movie. Kevin asked again and still with no response. He gently poked Yumi side and she jumped up in chock. “Ah!” Yumi slapped Kevin on the arm. “You scared me!” Kevin held his hand over his arm. “AW you are strong.” Yumi gave an apologetic look. “Sorry sunbae… It’s a reflex.” Kevin shook his head. “No I’m sorry. I just couldn’t get your attention. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Yumi looked at Kevin’s arm and noticed it was getting red from her slap. “I’m still really sorry.” She said as she patted the Kevin’s arm. Kevin tensed up as Yumi’s fingers touched his arm. Yumi noticed and quickly took her hand back and turned to the TV. Kevin breathed out. “Calm down Kevin.” Kevin turned to Yumi to ask if she wanted snacks, again. Yumi shook her head. “No I’m still pretty full from dinner.” Kevin chuckled. “I have never seen a girl eat as much as you.” Yumi made a pouty face. “What are you implying?” Kevin raised his hands in defence. “Nothing.” Yumi narrowed her eyes. “You are thinking I’m fat, aren’t you?” Kevin shook his head. “No, no, no! I’m just saying that you have a healthy appetite.” Yumi took the little blue teddy bear from earlier and threw it at Kevin. “Ya!” Kevin exclaimed as he ducked it. “That’s what you get for implying I eat too much.” Kevin couldn’t help but laugh at Yumi’s offended person. “And you are laughing now? Oh now you are gonna get it!” Yumi sat up and started to tickle Kevin’s sides, hoping he was ticklish.

“Stop!” Kevin begged while laughing. “I… Can’t… I’m going to pee in my pants…. Stop!” Yumi was sitting on top of Kevin as he were wiggling under her. “Then take your words back! I don’t eat too much.” Kevin was crying from the laughter. “I… I take it back!” Yumi made a pleased face as she stopped tickling. “Thank you.” She flashed a cute smiled down at Kevin. It was then they both noticed their position. Kevin suddenly got a rush of desire to hold Yumi tight and without thinking he changed their position, so he was now on top. Yumi’s eyes went wide as she was suddenly lying on her back, getting held down by Kevin. None of them said anything, they just stared into each other’s eyes. Kevin leaned down towards Yumi’s lips, without taking his gaze off of her eyes. Yumi felt her heart beat faster and harder, almost like a heavy hammer. As Kevin was only inches away from her lips he stopped. His amazing hassle brown eyes suddenly became wide as he noticed what he was doing. Kevin quickly got off of Yumi and mumbled a “sorry” under his breath. Yumi just looked up to the sealing, waiting for her heart to calm down. “I think I would like those snacks now.” Yumi said as she slowly sat up. Kevin nodded and quickly went out of the room.

When Kevin walked down the hall he suddenly stopped and leaned against the nearest wall. “What was I thinking!?” He ran his fingers through his dark blond hair. “I must be crazy! I just met this girl a day ago… What’s wrong with me?” Kevin covered his face with his hands. “Why am I so attracted to her?” Kevin sighed as he stood up straight. “Pull yourself together Kevin Woo!”

Yumi was sitting and embracing her legs. “Wauw..” She blinked a few times, getting her thoughts clear. “That was soooo close!... Why is he so hot?... Why did I actually want him to kiss me?... Am I crushing on my tutor?... I must be crazy!” Yumi got pulled out of her inner thoughts as Kevin entered the room again. “I bring cookies and milk.” He said with a cheer, like he had already forgotten what just happened. I’m normally not like this.” Yumi looked down to her lap, without saying anything. Kevin sat down next to her, making sure he didn’t sit to close. “I didn’t mean to do it.” Yumi just shook her head. “Don’t worry about it.” Kevin didn’t know what to do, so he just took the cookies and handed them to Yumi. Yumi made a chuckle. ”What a way to change the subject.” They both gave a small laugh as they took a cookie each.

“It’s getting really late.” Kevin said as he looked at the clock. Yumi yawned. ”Yeah it’s past 3am.” Kevin looked at Yumi and studied her body. “What do you think you’re doing?” Yumi glared at Kevin. “Oh, sorry. I was just trying to figure out if I had a shirt that would fit you.” Yumi frowned. “You could just have asked me for my size you know.” Kevin looked embarrassed as he blushed slightly. He stood up and went to his closet, finding a yellow V-neck shirt that was a bit big. “I think this will do.” Kevin said with a smile. “I’ll just go and brush my teeth, so just change in here… Oh and I will find a spare toothbrush for you.” Yumi nodded while saying her thanks.

After they were both done with getting ready for bed, they stumbled upon a small problem. “We don’t have futon you can borrow… So… Y-you will have to s-sleep next to… Me.” Kevin stuttered as he gestured for Yumi to choose a side. Yumi felt her face get warm as she thought about sharing a bed with Kevin. “That’s…. F-fine.” Yumi said as she took her shorts off and quickly crawled under the covers. Kevin just snatched a glimpse of Yumi’s pink hello kitty and blushed. “Calm… Down…” He walked to the other side of his bed and crawled under the covers as well. Kevin looked at Yumi to make sure it was okay he turned off the lamp on his nightstand, which it were. “Goodnight Yumi.” Kevin softly said as he lay on his side to face Yumi. “Sweet dreams Sunbae.” Yumi yawned while talking. Kevin couldn’t help but find her tired voice cute and innocent. “Thank you.” He could just barely se Yumi’s face as she snuggled up with the blue fluffy teddy bear. “She is just such a cutie.” Kevin smiled to himself as he dozed off to sleep.

Yumi woke as she felt a hand in hers. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Kevin sound asleep next to her, while holding her hand in a firm grip. Yumi blushed but at the same time she smiled. She liked Kevin holding her hand and he looked so adorable while sleeping. Kevin felt Yumi’s eyes on him but just kept pretending to sleep. He tried his best not to blow his cover. Yumi raised her head to look at the time, 6am. Yumi sighed and closed her eyes once again, hoping to quickly fall asleep again. As Yumi closed her eyes Kevin opened his. “Thank god she didn’t notice.”

Kevin gently brushed a strain of Yumi’s hair aside from her face, trying to wake her. “Yumi, you need to wake up now. Breakfast will be ready soon.” Yumi yawned as she rubbed her eyes. “Just two hours more.” She said with a sleepy aegyo voice. Kevin chuckled as he pulled the covers off of her, totally forgetting she took her shorts of last night. Yumi didn’t really react much but Kevin immediately turned around, blushing with a dark shade of red. “Damn… Why did I do that!? Babo!” Yumi now started to wake up and stretched her body. She noticed she had nothing covering her and quickly took her shorts from the floor while blushing. Kevin peeked over his shoulder to see if it was safe to turn around. Yumi immediately threw a pillow in his face. “Ya!” Kevin mumbled a “sorry” under his breath while feeling a bit embarrassed. “You can turn around now.” Kevin slowly looked back at Yumi. He felt his heart skip a beat as he for the first time really saw how good Yumi looked in his shirt. Kevin swallowed hard as he pulled himself together. “Uhm… Breakfast is ready in a few minutes, so yeah.” Yumi nodded and followed Kevin down stairs.

“Thank you for everything Mrs Woo.” Yumi said as she was ready to leave. “I can’t wait till you come visit again.” Mrs Woo said while pulling Yumi in for a motherly hug. She then whispered into Yumi’s ear. “I’ll leave you to for a private talk.” Yumi’s eyes went wide as she just stared at Mrs Woo, who walked away. Yumi bit down on her bottom lip as she turned to Kevin. “I had fun yesterday.” Yumi shyly said as she started fittle with Kevin’s shirt, which she was still wearing. “Thank you for not getting rid of me as your tutor.” Kevin said with a smile as he made a peace sign. Yumi felt like teasing. “You know there is still time for that right?” Kevin frowned as he crossed his arms over his chest. “Oh come on! You like me as your tutor.” Yumi shrugged. “I never said that and you can’t prove anything.” Kevin narrowed his eyes. “This girl…” Yumi flashed a bright smile as she took on her jacket. “I’ll see you at our next lesson.” Yumi cheered as she walked out while waving at Kevin, who waved back like a robot. “She’s an interesting girl.” Kevin jumped to the side as he got a chock from his mother’s sudden appearance. “You should bring her one a date. You would make a good couple.” Kevin’s eyes went wide. “Moooom!” Kevin exclaimed as he palmed his own face. “Seriously!” Mrs Woo just laughed at she turned back to the kitchen. “Should I though?” Kevin ran his fingers through his hair. “Aish..”
