Hyunae POV
“5…6..7..8. Deo dangdanghage neon Mr.Mr.”
I showed the steps to Mr.Mr one by one to SNSD.
“Nal gaseum ttwige han Mr.Mr”

I noticed that every member had it down. So we tried the moves with the music and they looked great.

“Good job unnie-deul.” I smiled at them.
“Hyunae-ah, you’re going with us to the music video shoot right?” Sooyoung asked.
“Um..I don’t know unnie.”
“Come on, you have to go.” Sunny said while trying to show me her aegyo.
“Arasso. I’ll go.”

They all became happy and crowded around me to hug me. I heard the door to the dance room open.

“What’s going on here?”
It was Taemin.
“Nothing just happy is all hoobae.” Yoona said.
“Ah~. Hyunae, can I talk to you for a second?”
“Yeah sure. You guys keep practicing?”
I walked over to where Taemin was.
“What’s up?”
“Do you want to go out on a date sometime this weekend?”
“Yeah sure.”
“Cool. Is Saturday at 8 okay?”
“Oh yeah that’s perfect.”
“Cool cool. I’ll pick you up then.”
“Ara.”
Taemin said bye to SNSD and left the dance room. Tiffany walked over to me.
“Did I just hear Taemin ask you on a date?” She asked in English.
“Yeah.”
She squealed.
“Aigoo~ You guys are too cute.”
“Tiffany~ stop. It’s not like we’re back together.”
“Sure. Whatever you say Hyunae. Let’s get back to practicing.”

She grabbed my arm and dragged me back over to the rest of the girls.

Later That Night…

“Taemin-oppa asked you out on a date?!” Kyung Mi asked excitedly.
“Yeah.” I said nonchalantly.
“OMO!” She squealed.
“Good grief. You and Tiffany and the squealing.” I rubbed my ears.
“Mian..so you guys are getting back together?”
“Ani~! It’s not like that. It’s just a friendly date.”
“Yeah sure it is.”
I shook my head and walked back to my room.

Saturday Night…

Taemin POV
I stood outside of Hyunae and Kyung Mi’s apartment feeling nervous. Get over yourself Lee Taemin. This is not the first time you guys went on a date. I thought to myself. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open the door. A couple seconds later, Kyung Mi opened the door.

“Oh! Taemin-oppa… Annyeong! Eoseowa.” She smiled.
“Neh gomawo.”
I walked in and sat on one of the couches.
“I’ll go get Hyunae.”
“Okay.”
Kyung Mi headed back to Hyunae’s room. Minutes later, Hyunae walked into the living room.
“Annyeong Taemin.” She said shyly.
“Annyeong Hyunae-ah. You look very pretty.”
“Gomawo. Should we go now?”
“Yeah let’s go.”

I stood up and held out my hand for her to grab. As soon as she grabbed my hand we walked out of the apartment and headed out of the building. When we walked to my car, Hyunae stopped.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“You have a car..” She said speechless.
“Just for tonight. I had to beg to get my own driver and car.”
She giggled. How I missed that sound.
“Ah~..”

I opened the door for her to get in and closed it behind her. I got in and drove off towards our destination. The car ride was quiet and awkward which I didn’t like so I decided to play some music.

“So where are you taking me Lee Taemin?” Hyunae asked.
“Hongdae.”
“You want to go out in public?”
“Yeah why not.”
“It’s Hongdae Taemin. People will notice us as soon as we walk through there.”
“Let them.” 
“But what will happen if they see us?”
“Nothing. It’s not like they will hurt us. They might take pictures and stuff but that’s it.”
Hyunae sighed.
“Don’t worry too much.” I said.
“Arasso.”

Within minutes, we arrived to Hongdae. Taemin held my hand and we walked through the small street of Hongdae. We gained little gasps and stares.

“OMO~ it’s Hyunae and Taemin!” We heard someone yell.
I looked at Taemin with wide eyes.
“Don’t panic. We are fine.”

I nodded my head at him. We began to walk to store with a trail of people following us and taking pictures. Taemin and I smiled at everyone and walked into the store. I began to look at different clothes and asked for Taemin’s opinion.

“Eodae?” I asked when I picked up a hoodie.
Taemin busted out laughing.
“Yah mwoya?? ‘Aye He’s Mine’? We aren’t together remember?”
“I know but I think couple hoodies are cute. We should buy them if we get back together.”
“I don’t like couple things. They are corny to me.”

Hyunae POV
“I don’t like couple things. They are corny to me.” Taemin said.
I looked at him with sadness on my face.
“Mianhae Hyunae-ah..”
“Gwenchana.. we don’t have to get them if you don’t want to.”

I put the hoodie back and began to look at other things. Taemin followed behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

“Are you upset with me?”
“Ani. That’s nothing to be upset about. Now get off me people might see.”
“Mian.”
“Stop apologizing. Let’s go look around some more.”
“Why don’t you wait for me outside?”
“Arasso.”

I walked out of the store and was surrounded by a whole bunch of fans. I grew a bit nervous, so I began to walk down the street a little bit. The fans followed me but I could hear screaming from behind me. I looked and saw Taemin heading this way. He grabbed my hand and we walked down the street.

“Do you want to go somewhere to eat?” He asked.
“Can we go to the Hello Kitty Café?”
“Sure.”

We walked in the direction of the café. When we walked in, I felt like a little kid. Taemin bought us a strawberry mousse cake with two hot chocolates. We sat at a table and began to eat our cake.

“So what did you buy?” I asked while looking at the bag Taemin sat beside him.
“Just something.” He answered.
“Is it a surprise?”
“Yeah you might like it.”
“Can’t I just have it now?”
“Ani! You have to wait until you go home.”
“Arasso.”

Taemin changed the subject quickly.

“So…what about our relationship?”
“You want to talk about this here?”
“Yeah. Just to clear things up.”
“Well, like I said before, you kept breaking promises and I was tired of waiting just so I could fit into your schedule, so it was only right that we broke up.”
“Do you think that was the best thing?”
“At the time yeah.”
“But…”
“But I began to miss you a lot and I regretted my decision but it was either break up or deal with broken promises and waiting.”
“That hurt me when you said you wanted to break up. I really didn’t want our relationship to come to an end.”
“Me either but it happened anyway.”
“Do you think we will get back together?”
“I don’t know. As long as you don’t break promises again and disappointment.”
“I promise I will never ever do that to you again.”
“Well then, maybe we could work it out.”
I smiled at him.
“Really?!”
“Yeah.”
Taemin got up from his seat and hugged me tightly.
“I will keep my promises from now on.”

After our conversation over cake and hot chocolate, Taemin took me back to my apartment. Before going in, Taemin handed me the bag that had the ‘surprise’ in it. I opened the bag and saw two hoodies in there. I looked up at Taemin and smiled. I pulled the hoodie out and it was the one I picked up earlier.

“Aww Taemin. I thought you said you don’t like couple things.”
“I don’t but since it’s something you liked I made the exception.”
“Aww.” I hugged Taemin tightly.

I missed the feel of him in my arms. He hugged me back and buried his head into my neck.

“I missed you so much.” He said muffled.
“I missed you too.”
