[Sneak Preview / Story Background]

“Maki Horikita, this is the case that you will have to look through during this period…”

Maki Horikita had just received her first undercover cases. She had been helping out with traffic regulations, patrolling and administration work for the police force.

“The Grand Company is rumoured to engage in illegal drug dealing under the cover of donations to orphanages. In addition, the supervisors and those in senior positions have been charged with ual assaults and harassment but have been acquitted. Embezzlement is also a high possibility.”

Maki pondered hard. All these charges were only against one company. However, it seemed that the company was pretty skilled at nullifying all the charges or rumours. Currently, the Grand Company was still one of the most sought after companies.

Maki flipped her file.

She was to act as the new personal secretary to the heir of the company, Mr Jay. She was not the only undercover. For this operation, there was a team of six to seven of them who had begun the operation at a slightly earlier date. She was the latest member.

“I wonder who the leader of this operation is…”

She stared hard at the photograph and the name.
Ohno Satoshi.

“The guy who the seniors said is the funniest cop they have ever met? He is the leader?” Maki was astounded. Her seniors had mentioned this notable undercover policeman.

He was the most talented and witty undercover cop existing in the police force currently. However, he had a funny catchphrase.

“All the naughty citizens who do not abide by the laws love my name!”

The other policemen or policewomen would be stunned when he mentioned this.

“OH NO!” The Ohno Satoshi would shout and act like those thieves who tried to escape when they were being caught.

Some police officers laughed hard, while others just stared at Ohno Satoshi back then.

However, no one doubted his abilities. Even if he cracked jokes which were not funny, his catchphrase reflected the reality. He had never failed a mission before.

“This is such fun and honour to be able to work with the famous Ohno Satoshi!” Maki thought dreamily to herself.
