I would have never imagined the day my parents were killed in a car wreck. I was an only child, and with their death I was left alone.
An aunt that I only heard from now and then decided to pick me off my feet and take me with her back to Korea, where she lived working for a popular music company; once I finished my second year of high school first, that is. Luckily I had just about two weeks left. She came down to live with me until then; she also held the funerals and took care of selling the house.

I won’t lie, all of the pain was terrible and I found myself suddenly blinded by stinging tears throughout the next four months. But I’m starting school again soon and it’s time to be strong.

But I had no idea what I was in for.
