Frankly, I am sick and tired of the Capitol. But of course I can never say that to anyone. Who knows what could happen to me or my family. I could be imprisoned or killed. Probably killed.

 My name is Kim Junmyeon. I'm from District 5, the district which supplies much power and electricity for Panem. Even though I may not be selected in the reaping, Mother and Father told me to dress nice for the ceremony. I looked in my closet and found nothing more than a blazer and black pants. They kind of looked disappointed when I told them this was all I had. I'm not the type to dress up. I'm the oldest child in my family too, maybe that's why they expect so much from me. To them, I could be seen as a bad example to my younger siblings, which I don't want. I'm trying hard to make sure I can be the best I can to my little brother and sister.

 Maybe, if I'm selected as tribute, I can show my family and my district just how strong I can be. I can prove to them I'm a great son.

 No...it's kinda bad to think about it that way.

 But even if fate decides to send me to the arena, I'll do whatever I can to make my mom, dad, and my district happy until I spend the last moments of my life in there.
