Lights are flashing. The only thing news cameras could see past the ocean of reporters was the top of a stretcher. 

"Wake up," they said. "Can you hear me?" 

He was carried out of the ambulance quickly. Space was cleared so the paramedics could rush him in. There was a sheet covering his body, soaked with blood at the area which covered his face. 

Camera lights began to blind the scene. 

"We might have to say goodbye," they said.

"No, we will not," one said to the rest of them.

Author's Note: Hello guys. I figured I should post something to keep people busy while I'm redoing my Hunger Games AU story. This is a short story, but I'll split it into a couple of chapters. Hope you guys enjoy it and I hope you don't cry as much as I did writing this.
