"Its been awhile since I've worn a dress." Amber looked at herself in the mirror and then over to Nicole. "How do I look, unnie?"

 

"Gorgeous, princess." 

 

"Do you think he'll like it?"

 

Nicole smiled and reassuringly nodded. "I'm sure he will. But are you sure you should be going out without a disguise?"

 

"It's been a year since we've been dating. I think he deserves a night out with a girl. Plus it's been so long I'm sure the paparazzi have quit looking for me."

 

"At least bring it along just in case you need it.

 

"If you insist, unnie."

 

Amber packed her disguise in her bag, gave Nicole a hug, and headed out. As she was sitting in the cad, she couldn't help but smile. Her relationship with Key was wonderful. And tonight she was going to tell him about her identity. She had many chances to prior to this, but every time she attempted to something always came up. But she was determined to succeed tonight. When she arrived at her destination she paid the cab driver and got out. She saw Key sitting on a bench near the river waiting for her. The lamp post above the bench made it seem like there was a spotlight on him. She thought to herself, how majestic. He was wearing black slacks and a hot pink fitted military shirt. Amber approached him from behind and cupped her hands over his eyes. "Guess who."

 

A huge grin appeared on his face as he placed his hand on hers. He pulled her around to his side and removed her hands from his eyes.

 

"No fair. You didn't guess," Amber pouted.

 

Key chuckled, "I didn't need to guess because I knew it was my beautiful girlfriend.

 

He looked at her from head to toe. He has always found her to be beautiful but this was the first time he has seen her in a dress and heels. She was gorgeous. He was at a lost for words so all he could do was stare. 

 

Amber started to feel self-conscious about herself. "Do I look okay, oppa?"

 

"You--, you look stunning." He handed her a bouquet of calla lilies, her favorite flowers, causing her to blush. "But how come you're not in your disguise?" 

 

"I figured today was a special day." she smiled sweetly at him.   

 

"It is," he said and placed a kiss on her forehead. "All right. Let's get going. I have some things planned. I wouldn't want us to be late."

 

The two walked side by side on the riverwalk looking at the city lights glistening upon the calming waters. Key suggested that the two list their favorite memories from the past year. As they continued walking and talking Amber came to the conclusion that he was the one. There was no question about it. Amber decided she was going to tell him now. She couldn't stand keeping it from him any longer.

 

"I have something I want to tell you," Amber mumbled as quickly as possible.

 

"So do I." He replied with a smile. 

 

"Oppa--"

 

"Can I go first?" Key interrupted as he stopped and looked at his watch. He then turned Amber to face him so that her back was to the river. Before she could even respond Key had already started talking.

 

"Jo, when I first met you, I already knew there was something different about you. Whether it was how you acted, how you looked, how you talked, I don't know, but I knew I couldn't get enough. With just one gaze, you had me addicted to your love."

 

Amber was silent as her eyes were locked with intent upon the man in front of her.

 

"I just...I just wanted you to know that you're amazing, and that I feel so lucky to have you."

 

As sweet as it sounded, his conclusive sentence had felt rather anticlimactic, but Amber disguised her disappointment as she smiled up towards him.

 

"Thanks..." she said as she quickly hugged him for a moment and turned her head back towards the river. She suddenly noticed the yacht that was crossing, but that wasn't what caught her attention. She had found it weird that all the lights were turned off, especially this late at night.

 

"Well isn't that a bit strange." Key inquired.

 

"I know, right?"

 

But suddenly, a small spark began in the top left corner of the boat, with a series of more flashes coming on. Within moments a light show appeared in front of the two love birds. They drew all sorts of things such as words, symbols, and even dancing people. The two watched in awe. This was the first time Amber had ever seen anything like this. Even though she was royalty, the only type of light show she's seen were with fireworks, nothing too spectacular, at least not to this caliber. As they continued watching, Amber noticed that they were no longer drawing images but repetitive lines. It was seemingly random at first, but the lines bonded into familiar .

 

'Will...you...' she waited a bit to piece together the rest 'marry...me...'

 

Her eyes widened as soon as realization hit her; she turned her head towards the man beside her, but found him, not standing, but now, kneeling on one knee in front of her. He unclasped the little blue box sitting in his hand and revealed a sparkling diamond ring. 

 

"So do I just wait for your answer, or do you want to actually hear me ask?"

 

Amber gasped. Her eyes began to well up with tears of joy. "Yes. Yes! YES! YES! YES!" 

 

She wrapped her arms around Key as he stood up. He was overjoyed. He lifted her up and spun her around. Key felt as if his heart could leap right out of his chest. He couldn't be any happier. After setting her down, he pulled her into a kiss. Amidst their passionate kiss, Key pulled away and said, "We need to capture this moment." 

 

He approached an older man who was taking pictures of the light show and handed him his camera, "Excuse me, sir. Would you mind taking a photo of me and my fiancee?"

 

The man nodded and followed Key back over to where he was standing. The moment the man started counting down, Key swept Amber off her feet, swiftly dipped her in his arms and gave her a sweet kiss. Once Amber was on her feet again, she couldn't stop blushing. Key asked the man to take a couple more pictures of them, just to be on the safe side. As the man was zooming the camera into the couple, he couldn't help but take notice in Amber. 

 

"Is that..." he mumbled to himself but then shook away the thought. "Couldn't be."

 

After taking a feel more shots, the old man walked up to Key and handed him his camera. Now that he was only a feet or two away from Amber, the old man confirmed it. She was the princess. Key and Amber respectfully bowed to the man and thanked him for taking their pictures. Once the two were far enough away to hear or see, the old man started secretly snapping shots of them. 

 

"We have to get going," Key stated. "We're already really late for the engagement party Jonghyun is throwing for us."

 

They quickly got in a cab and headed back to Key's apartment. Amber found it sweet that the guys were throwing them an engagement party. Amber started teasing Key. "Oppa, what if I had said 'no'? Would there still be a party?"

 

"Well, I knew you would say 'yes'. I mean, who can resist this cute face?" Key made the most adorable face that Amber couldn't help but pinch his cheeks. 

 

"Aigo, you're so cute, oppa!"

 

"Plus, I'm sure Jonghyun would've found another reason to throw a party. You know how crazy that boy gets."

When they arrived at Key's place, Amber told Key to go ahead and go in first because she wanted to change back into her disguise, seeing how no one but Key knew that she was a girl. Key insisted that she just go in the way she was, but Amber told him that she had something she wanted to discuss with him first before revealing herself. Key agreed and headed inside. 

 

Once he was passed the door, his eyes immediately searched for Jonghyun and Onew. He spotted them in the kitchen laughing their heads off, and headed over to them.

 

"Hey! You're here!" Onew exclaimed, giving Key a hug. Key could smell the alcohol from them. They were drunk, then again, when didn't they get drunk at a party.

 

"Dude, you got lucky!" Jonghyun busted up laughing. 

 

"What are you talking about?

 

Onew jumped up and was excited to fill Key in, "The party was getting lame while we were waiting for you and your fiancee. Wait. Where's Nicole?"

 

"Nicole?" Key was confused. Did the guys think that Nicole was his girlfriend? But then again, it would make sense for them to assume that because he was always hanging out with Jo, and Jo and Nicole are attached at the hips.

 

Jonghyun jumped in, "Nevermind that. So as Onew was saying, I was tired of waiting on you guys--"

 

"So he decided to make a bunch of oatmeal bombs!" declared Onew as the two started to crack up again. "We've been dropping it on every 5th person who enters."

 

Key's eyes widened in terror. "Wait! What number was I?!

 

Suddenly a scream was heard from the front. Jonghyun and Onew were in another fit of laughter as Key bolted to the front door. Amber just stood there in disbelief as the oatmeal continued to drip down her body. 

 

"JO! Are you okay?" Key hurried to her side and inspected her for any injuries. 

 

"I--, I'm fine."

 

"Oh, Jo! It's you! Why didn't you call? We would've told you to take the back door." Onew inserted. 

 

"Sorry, man. We got bored." Jonghyun tried to defend his actions. 

 

"Here. Follow me. I'll get you some of my clothes to change into." Key instructed her and she silently followed. 

 

Amber took the clothes that Key handed her and rushed to the restroom. She was in such a hurry that she carelessly forgot to lock the bathroom door. She couldn't believe that people actually did this. She took off her wig and ran it under the faucet to get as much oatmeal out of it as she could. After most of it was out she set her wig aside so that it could dry and proceeded to take off her shirt that was drenched in the oatmeal. She grabbed Key's shirt from the pile, but before putting it on, she took a moment and looked at the tee. She couldn't help but giggle at what was on it. It had a picture of domo's face and a pair of broken glasses, taped together in the middle, and had the phrase 'nerd at heart'.

 

Suddenly the door swung open and Jonghyun came stumbling in. Amber gasped and lifted the shirt and covered her chest to prevent him from seeing her in her bra.  Jonghyun was surprised to find her in the restroom. 

 

He was dumbfounded. "Jo? Is that you? You're a girl?!"

 

"Please don't tell anyone."

 

He looked her up and down from head to toe, examining every aspect. He smirked at her as he locked the door behind him. "That can be arranged."

 

"What are you doing"

 

He took a few steps toward her. The look on his face scared her. She knew what ever thoughts were running through his mind had to be dirty. She could see it in his eyes. Amber quickly tried to pull the tee over her head but Jonghyun pulled it out of her hands before she succeeded.

 

"I'll keep your secret if you do me a favor." He brushed his hand against her cheek causing her to cringe. She looked around the restroom for a means of an escape but everything was so far away. He had her cornered. 

 

"You're drunk. Please don't do this."

 

"How did I miss you before?" His hand continued to run down her arm and then to the curves of her waist. "You know you want me, too."

 

He looked at her and then forcefully kissed her. She used all her might to push him off of her. "Stop it. Please don't do this" Tears were flowing from her eyes. No matter how much she pleaded and shoved, it was useless. He continued to roughly kiss her.

 

Suddenly the doors broke open. Jonghyun turned around to see who had interrupted him, but was met with a harsh blow to the face, knocking him out. Key quickly wrapped his jacket around amber and pulled her into his arms to comfort her.

 

"I'm so sorry, babe." He her hair. "I'm here now. It'll be okay."

 

Her sobs were muffled against his chest. It hurt him to see Amber like this. "Lets get out of here."
