As I sat in my History class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called "best friend”, Lee ~~~. I stared at her long, silky hair, her long eyelashes, her perfect nose, her beautiful eyes, and her pink lips. My heart began to thump very hard and my stomach feels like there are butterflies in it. i can’t hear anyone nor i can’t see anyone but her. Before, back when i was a child, i always wish to have toys or cars but now, there’s only one thing that i can wish for. I wish that she was mine. But, the thing is, she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. she looked at me and raised her eyebrows,

“why are you looking at me like that myungmyung?” she whispered to me. Yeah. Myungmyung. That’s the nickname she calls me, it may sound awful or bad but i love it. i love it especially if she made that name just for me and only me.

“ani!” i denied at her. i was shaking my head and waving my hands. She looked at me sceptically.

“i know you kim myungsoo. I know you’ve been staring at me. I know you’re lying.” She looked at me seriously. Okay! I’m so sweating right now. I became silent, not able to say a word. Everything was awkward (for me) until she giggled. I looked at her and she just shrugged. Why did she giggle?

“yah! Why did you—“

“ssssssshhh~ listen now to ms. Choi or else we’ll get detention.” She half whispered half shouted. I just nodded and gave her an okay sign.

After class, she walked up to me. My surroundings seem to stop and everything that i could see is her and onl
