chanhee: gigi told you?

dongjun: yeah

chanhee: oh... ok i thought you didn't know, i don't really care why

         you're here

 

gigi playfully went closer, she was going to scare the two when 

dongjun: are you sure you don't like her?

it made gigi stop and listen to their conversation seriously, gigi felt her heart beat faster as there was a long silence.

 

dongjun: stop being a coward, i know you like her. just admit-

chanhee: I LIKE HER OK!?! YOU HAPPY NOW?!

 

for a minute gigi forgot to breath and just stared at the gate's handle. dongjun smirked at chanhee

 

dongjun: i knew it.

chanhee: whatever

 

chanhee went back in and dongjun left. gigi, standing there dumbfounded didn't move an inch.

 

gigi: *whats with you?... he probably said that cause he was getting 

      pissed right?*

 

for a minute gigi was having a conversation with herself but was interrupted by jongin

 

jongin: gigi, what are you doing there??

gigi: what?!- oh i was just going in

 

gigi awkwardly gave a smile and ran in the house. jongin watched gigi go

 

jongin: [sigh] ya gigi... there's no use lying to me

 

jongin said to himself before going in the house. that night chanhee sent a text to gigi

      "master": George~~~ im hungry~~~ deokkboki~~~~

 

gigi stared at it for a while. weirdly gigi's heartbeat was faster than normal. after typing and erasing for a couple of times, she finaly replied.

 

      george-ie: can't my dad's making me teach the newbies a lesson, the not

           so nice one. 

 

gigi didn't want to see chanhee right now, she's confused and a bit nervous to see his face. to get rid of the stress gigi went to their basement for a workout.

 

the next morning, gigi stopped at her front gate, knowing that chanhee is there waiting for her, she hesitated to go out. gathering courage, she opened the gate and much to her surprise she saw a chanhee-less pavement. after stepping out, chanhee surprised gigi coming out from a bush. chanhee was laughing hard but stopped when he saw gigi's blank expression and was just staring at him.

 

chanhee: ya... whats wrong with you? are you sick of something?

 

chanhee touched gigi's forehead 'causing gigi to turn crimson. gigi pushed chanhee away and walked pass him 

 

gigi: im fine, im just a bit tired

chanhee: what did you even do last night?

gigi: played a bit of wrestling, made them run all over town

      *and just staring at my ceiling, thinking*

chanhee: wow... and you enjoy doing that?

gigi: a bit... its good for releasing stress

 

the whole time gigi couldn't make eye contact with chanhee. when they got off the bus chanhee suddenly put his arm at gigi shoulders, and it gave gigi goosebumps.

 

gigi: [whispers] why are you doing this?

chanhee:[whispers] just giving them a mini heart attack

 

every morning they would portray their "love" to the world and it was already normal for them to pretend, but ever since last night gigi felt weird... reaching her classroom, gigi flopped down to her desk

 

ysa: why are you always tired??

gigi:[sigh]...

ysa: whats wrong??

gigi: nothing~~

 

gigi sang...

 

ysa: ok~~~

 

ysa sang back going back to what she was doing 

 

gigi: on second thought...

ysa: eung?

gigi: a friend of mine, kept me up all night..

ysa: a friend? who?

gigi: um.... she was my classmate back at the Philippines...

      umm.. joanna

ysa: ohh...

gigi: she has a bit of a problem... she has an enemy.. well

      frienemy, a guy... lets call him....umm.. guy

ysa: what a smart nickname [sarcastically] ... then??

gigi: she overheard guy and another guy's conversation... the other

      guy pissed guy off... and guy said that she liked joanna.

      do you think guy was saying the truth?

ysa: wait... let me processes that complicated story of yours

mei: im my opinion-

 

mei appears suddenly

 

gigi: mei!! stop doing that!!

mei: ok... as i was saying... i think he really likes her

ysa: wait?! how did liking he go to the conversation anyway

gigi: umm... the other guy took joanna home and they bumped into

      each other.. then the other guy-

ysa: pls make it guy#2

gigi: ok.... guy#2 asked guy if it bothered him that he was taking

      joanna home... guy said no, then guy#2 wont stop making guy

      admit that me liked joanna, then he said it... he's a very

      impatient guy

ysa: well i think he only said that to get away from the situation

gigi: right?!

 

gigi felt happy and disappointing at the same time

 

mei: you'll never know, maybe he has a secret crush on her

ysa: that can happen too..

gigi: nahh.... that's ridiculous... he would never like her

mei: aren't you being a bit mean? even though she's ugly someone

     will fall for her, everyone deserves love. 

gigi: no, i don't mean it that way... they really hate each other's guts, they always fight and... they just hate each other

ysa: people can change over time you know

gigi: i-... she-... arghhh!!

 

gigi bumps her head on her desk

 

mei: why are you so effected by this anyway?

gigi: its just... she keeps me awake at night, as a good friend i

      listen to it all 

ysa:[pats gigi] its ok gigi...

 

at that moment the teacher arrived. 

 

for the whole week they were busy with the festival preparation and gigi avoided chanhee the whole time making up excuses when chanhee gives her tasks. the night before the festival the whole class went to mei's house to try on the costumes. the whole class was wearing a variety of costumes, from super cute to super creepy. ysa and gigi was checking if everyone had their costumes and of the other costumes for the costumers where ready. mei skipped happily to ysa, wearing a cute maid's outfit, she gave ysa her costume

 

ysa: seriously?! im going to wear this?!

 

it was a suit but it looked old an big for ysa

 

mei: sorry~ that's the only butler costume they had. its that of the kiddy sized one.

ysa:[sigh]...

mei: and for you gigi

 

mei gives gigi a pretty box

 

mei: my sister-in-law said that she was going to wear this at

     Halloween next year, but to help us she'll let you wear

     it,take good care of it 

 

gigi opened the box and the whole class went "oooooh" when they saw the costume. gigi looked at it in horror

 

ysa: at least its better than mine...have you worn something like

     this before??

gigi: never.

 

D-day, the day for the festival, people were already very busy. at classroom 2-3, they were having a hard time making gigi get out of the dressing room. 

 

ysa: come on gigi~~ its not that bad, just properly button up the top and it'll be all fine

gigi: but there's no top button!!

 

at that moment 3 guys were wearing gangster like costume. they was wearing these sleeveless suits and had a very convincing tattoo on their arm  

 

mei: what are you wearing?!

guy1: we'll be gigi's goons, whats a gangster without goons 

ysa: [sigh]... i'll let you guys be her goons but if you guys do

     anything to her you'll have to face me, mei and amy

mei: don't forget chanhee and the others

guy1: we wont do anything... we promise 

 

the guys happily joins the other people preparing the classroom. then dongjun came in the room wearing a prince costume. the girls in the room swoon as their prince charming came, especially eunji. dongjun went to ysa

 

dongjun: where do i put my babies??

ysa: give it to eunji for the moment, by the way you look good

dongjun: it was really embarrassing wearing this on a motor

eunji: you own a motorbike?

dongjun: yeah... here [gives the bag of cams] take care of my babies

        for a while

eunji: our babies...

 

eunji murmurs to herself.

 

dongjun: what?

eunji: nothing!!

 

eunji leaves the scene to set up the cameras.

 

dongjun: where's gigi?? i haven't seen her

ysa: oh, you'll be surprised to see her, but right now she wont come

     out of the dressing room..

 

mei had enough and went in the dressing room (which was just made with curtains) and forced gigi out. all eyes were at gigi, especially the boys including dongjun.

 

gigi: close you're mouth or you'll catch flies with it

dongjun: whoah... are you really gigi?!

gigi: shut up!!!

 

gigi was wearing this

 

but she buttoned it up and had a HK79 on hand 

 

ysa: i tough there was no top button

gigi: a wild safety pin appeared~~

mei: and it was very effective!

amy: enough with the pokemon and help us here

 

after setting the classroom, costumers came in and they all went to their acting mode, they had to act as they were their character. everything was going smoothly. after a while gigi got used to what she was wearing and gained confidence. alot of people came to take pictures,and really enjoyed  dressing up. then the "ssayongpa" came and girls just went to them. chanhee manages to get out of sea of girls to find gigi. he noticed that gigi has been avoiding him, and wants to know why. chanhee kept on looking around but couldn't see gigi. chanhee saw mei near the door, standing on a chair

 

chanhee: mei, have you seen gigi??

mei: ooh!!! chanhee! you're in for a surprise... umm... there! she's at booth 3 [pointing at booth 3]

 

chanhee looks at the direction mei was pointing at and saw a bunch of guys around the booth. he went to take a closer look 'cause he can't see gigi because she's too small. and when he got there,  he saw gigi surrounded by guys in the booth. at  first he tough that it was someone else but it was really gigi. at that time gigi got tired..

 

gigi: ya, im tried. lets stop for awhile

 

gigi said bossily, as she acts like a gangster boss. and the guys all "aww" in disappointment but gigi called some of the girls who were wearing cute anime costumes and the guys became lively again. chanhee takes that chance to talk to gigi but gigi's goons playfully blocked his way.

 

gigi: its ok guys~

 

the 3 of them stepped away, to let gigi and chanhee talk

 

chanhee: whats with them??

gigi: their my goons, its part of the act [bossily]

chanhee: ohh..

gigi: what do you want?

 

gigi takes this opportunity not to act all lovey-dovey as a part of the festival.

 

chanhee: my girlfriend... i cant see her can you show me where she went?

gigi: why are you asking me to do that? find her yourself.

 

the girls that heard their conversation swoons

 

chanhee: naah... who needs her when i got you?

 

they swoon again, catching dongjun's attention

 

gigi: [thump thump]*you cant let him affect you gigi* so you're

     saying you're cheating on her

chanhee: no- i... ya gigi!

 

they all laugh at the couple cutely arguing in the middle of the room. knowing that they wont have a proper conversation, chanhee takes gigi hand and drags her out of the room. while running gigi was screaming cause she was wearing heals, not noticing her screams chanhee keeps on running until gigi tripped and laid flat on the ground.

 

gigi: YAA!!! I TOLD YOU TO STOOOP!!

chanhee: sorry... i didn't hear you

gigi: aish!!

 

gigi kicks chanhee in the shin making him fall to the ground in pain. they were already at the part of the school where only a few students go to so there was no one there.

 

chanhee: YA!-

 

chanhee stopped and quickly looked away all red-faced. gigi was confused at first but noticed that her skirt was up, she was wearing short shorts but it was still embarrassing. they both quickly got up at fixed their clothes. after the awkward silence...

 

chanhee: why are you wearing heels?! i told you to never wear them

         ever agian

gigi: mei made me wear them... and i got the hang of them now

chanhee: yeah, falling on you're face is "getting the hang of them" 

gigi: ya!! why did you drag me all the way here anyway?!

chanhee: oh, right... you've been avoiding me aren't you?

gigi: me?! avoid you?! why would i do that?! [awkwardly laughs]

chanhee: you're not answering my calls

gigi: i was busy with the preparations and forgot to charge my phone

      for the whole week.

 

honestly, a week ago, gigi's phone wouldn't stop ringing. at first she would just turn it to silent mode but it ket on vibating. after a few more calls she turns it off. she told the others that her phone is being fixed so she cant answer any calls or texts.

 

chnahee: oh really? how about last Wednesday? you clearly saw me and 

         you ran away

gigi: what are you talking about? [awkwardly laughs]

 

last Wednesday at the halls of jiseumi, chanhee was called to the office for some misplaced packages. while walking chanhee and gigi made eye contact, chanhee was about to call her but gigi ran away.

 

gigi: ummmm.... eunji was calling me back then...

 

chanhee gave gigi the "im-not-convinced" look

 

gigi: i.... wait, why are you so effected huh?! do like me

      that much-

 

gigi covered when she realized what she was saying. chanhee was surprised.

 

chanhee: you heard our conversation?!

gigi: eung.... i didn't eavesdrop, you guys talk too loud.

chanhee: i only said that to get him off my back. he won't stop

         until i said those words.

gigi: oh... *why are you disappointed when you knew all

      along, gigi?!*

 

gigi felt like someone was poking needles through her heart at that moment.

 

chanhee: were you avoiding me because of that?!

gigi: no! why would i?!... i better go. there's a lot of people

      waiting. 

 

gigi awkwardly laughs then leaves. before gigi went down the stairs...

 

chanhee: George!!!

gigi: what!?!

chanhee: its good that you're dressed as a gangster, you can be you're violent self in front of everyone!!

gigi: [dugeun dugeun] SHUT UP!!!

 

gigi continued going down, then she heard chanhee say

 

chanhee: and you look good in that outfit...

 

gigi's face tuned a couple shades of red and ran to the wash room. she washed her face to cool her down and stared at herself in the mirror.

 

gigi: whats wrong with you gigi... argghhhh!!!

 

gigi hits her head on the mirror causing her to hold it in massive pain. she went back to the classroom with a big smile on her face.

 

mei: hey~~ why are you so happy?

gigi: nothing~~

 

dongjun noticed gigi's big smile and smiled to himself knowing that something good happened to gigi and chanhee. the whole event was a success and everyone had a blast. after all the guest were gone the a small show prepare by some of the students will be held on syokanji's  soccer field. after changing into something more comfortable, a plain white shirt and a pair of sweatpants, gigi was on her way to canteen to get something to eat before the show start. with bread and a carton of milk she sat at a table in the middle of the room. with only a carton of milk left a sea of people, specifically girls, came in. gigi saw chanhee scanning the room and when they met eyes, chanhee ran to her. squatting down eye level chanhee hugs gigi.

 

chanhee: [whispers] warning: im going to do something you'll really hate 

 

gigi pulled away confused but chanhee held gigi's cheeks and kissed her. the girls scream in jealousy and in giddy but one girl looked like she wanted to kill gigi on that spot. jongsun glared at the couple and marched away angrily. outside hyunwoo and the others saw the crowd..
