gigi: *CHANHEE!?!*

 

 

 

 

Chanee was at gigi's balcony,( well not exactly gigi's balcony but his balcony is right next to gigi's so it looks like he's at gigi's balcony.) gigi Stood up and went to her balcony. Her balcony was

like 4 feet away from chhanhee's

 

 

Chanhee: why aren't you answering your phone... do you want me to tell them? 

gigi: no..and why are you here??

chanhee: this is my room [pointing at the the room behind him]

gigi:[sighs]....what do you want... 

Chanhee: you see, on sunday, is my mom's birthday, help me buy her a gift...

Gigi: you want me to go shopping with you?...

chanhee: no, you go buy it yourself

Gigi: how would i know what you mom wants??

chanhee: just buy her anything, your a girl too right.

Gigi:[glare]...yeah, but girl's have different styles

Chanhee:oh right, you like dressing up like a boy

Gigi: ya!! That was before!!

chanhee: [melong]... just buy her a gift

 

After that chanhee closed his curtains. Gigi wanted to beat chanhee up and throw him on a cliff. Gigi Made a face before going in her room. on saturday morning gigi went to the cafe to wait for amy. while waiting

 

Gigi: where is she??

 

then someone tapped gigi's shoulder. she Was hoping it was amy but it was just a girl.

 

Girl: um...you're gigi right??

gigi: yes...why???

girl: im dahee, im your fan

Gigi: what?!

Dahee : hehe ^^… I've always hated chanhee's guts. I hate him, i hate every little thing

       about him. But i dont have the courage to stand up to him and you did it... you're

       the first girl to ever stand up to chanhee...im a big fan..

Gigi:oh~ ok......[awkward laugh]

 

dahee saw amy go in the cafe...

 

dahee: i need to go. My friends are waiting. And amy is here [pointing at amy who was busy

       ordering a cup of ice Americano]...bye

 

So dahee left and gigi went next to amy...

 

Gigi: amy-ya. Thanks for coming with me

Amy: no prob...i had nothing to do anyways [gives a small smile]

gigi: no studying??

amy: yeah, i need a break from the books. i thought you have work on saturday mornings?

gigi: my boss has something to do this morning so he moved my shiff to this afternoon.

amy:oh~ we should go so we can get back early

gigi: lets go ^^

 

on the way to myeong-dong..

 

amy: so... who's birthday is it again??

gigi: my aunt's... i still don't know what to give her.

amy: hmm... does she like?? is she fun? is she a quiet person? 

gigi: i don't know... i haven't seen her for a long time.

amy: hmm... i guess a book?? does she like reading?

gigi: dont know

amy: lets just see when we get there

 

gigi and amy ended up buying a Fabulous Gift Basket, it had a cute teddy bear, Happy birthday horn and noise maker, assorted cream-centered chocolates, and boxes of cookies and cofee. they walked around myeong-dong since they have some spare time. after eating at various street vendors and looked through different shops they decided to go back. on the way gigi spotted a very familiar ajumma that sells korean french fry hot dog and tteokbokki 

 

gigi: AJUMMA!!

 

the lady was shocked and looked at gigi very closely.

 

gigi: ajumma, its me... george-ie!!

ajumma: oh! george! 0.0

 

the lady hugged gigi and amy was looking at them very confused.

 

ajumma: george... your back! since when?

gigi: its been a month or 2. how have you been?

ajumma: still selling these fattening, heart attack giving hotdogs

gigi: hehe ^^ 

 

then gigi noticed amy was just looking at them like a lost puppy

 

gigi: oh! amy-ah... this is... umm... ajumma, you never told me your name.

ajumma: shinyoung, lee shinyoung... but call me young-ie so it will make me sound younger [winks]

gigi: hahaha ^^ ajuma, your not that old

ajumma: "not that old"?!? im 45!!

gigi: hahah^^.... opps :DD...ajuma, this is amy, my friend

amy: its nice to meet you [bows]

ajumma: its nice to meet you too young lady. omo.. you're so pretty, dressed all nice

        and girly... george-ie! why don't you follow you friend's fashion sense and stop 

        wearing plain jeans and shirts.

gigi: eii...ajumma its more comfortable wearing this... at least im not wearing boy's clothes anymore.

ajumma: eii...[deep sighs while staring at gigi]

gigi: why??

ajumma: its a pitty that your brother had to go..

 

gigi looked at the ground and sighed. amy scanned gigi's face..

 

gigi: amy, you want one??

amy: no, im good. 

gigi: ok.... ajumma, 2 please.

 

shinyoung gave gigi 2 pieces of  korean french fry hot dog. 

 

gigi: ajumma, how much is it??

ajumma: just go...its my treat. i haven't seen you for a long time

gigi: ajumma... you dont have to.

ajumma: just go [gives a big smile]

 

gigi gave her a big hug before going. at the bus...

 

amy: gigi-ya... i don't know if i should ask but... what happened to your brother??

gigi: oh... umm... my brother??...[clears her throat] well, since he was young he was a very

      good fighter. at first he would stand up for those who needed help... like a little

      super hero...[sigh] he was my hero...but when he reached middle school he started to

      become bossy and he became the bully, he was known as syokanji's best fighter... he

      would do these stupid things and started to do vises... at he's last year of middle

      school he joined a gang... one night my brother snucked out...then the next thing we

      knew he was in the hospital in the emergency room fighting for his life....

 

there was a long pause before gigi continued...

 

gigi: then he died in the surgery room... they said that he was stabbed in the stomach

      and had several broken bones...

 

gigi stared at the floor blankly...

 

amy: im sorry... i shouldn't of asked..

gigi: its ok...[gives a small smile].. its in the past. there's no point in crying over

     spilled milk right??

amy: eung...

 

after a few seconds of awkward silence..

 

gigi: since i answered your question... i hope you answer mine too..

amy: what is it??

gigi: why aren't you close with baekhyun??

amy: [sigh] back then we were very close, just like any other brother and sister, our family was

     happy my father had a good job, my mom does some teaching at a elementary school. our life

     was very normal...then my mom got a promotion, a job at new york teaching world history. so

     me, baekhyun and mom went there. my dad stayed because of he's job... after 4 years, my mom

     found out that my dad had an affair and ended up in a divorce...my mom lost her job and became

     a housekeeper in  hotels... we had a hard time and baekhyun delivered newspapers to help mom

     with the expenses... he promised that he won't leave us and he would take care of us...[a tear

     drop came out of amy's eye] then after one year dad suddenly went to new york to get baekhyun,

     [wipes her tear] at first baekhyun refused to go... but oneday after school, i was watching TV

     then he suddenly ran to his room and packed his things... at first i thought he was going to

     he's friend's house...when morning came my mom discovered a letter sticked to the mirror...

     it said "mom... im sorry.... im going to korea with dad... be safe and take care of you and

     amy...i love you..."..... [sniff] after a year my mom got a job and life got better... after

     another year after earning enough money, a good job was open here in korea and my mom didnt

     hesitate and we went back here.... after 2 years living with my grandmother we heard the news

     that my dad died with his family... baekhyun survived the accident... then the next thing i

     knew, my mom was took over my dad's business and baekhyun was back with us.... 

 

the trip back was very silent no one bothered to comfort the other one cause they were both down. when gigi got home jongin was in the yard doing exercises, top less...

 

gigi: oppa... i told you to wear a shirt when you exercise...you might get sick.. [poker face]

 

gigi sat at the doorsteps and jongin grabbed his shirt that was hanging at a statue before sitting next to gigi..

 

jongin: there, happy??

gigi:[nod nod]....[gave jongin one of the hotdog]

jongin: what's with the long face??

gigi: im just tired...

jongin: why don't you go in and rest

gigi: i still have my part time job

jongin: why do you need to work anyway..

gigi: [sticks out her tongue] none of your business.

jongin: dont tell me...

gigi: what?

jongin: you're not into vises right?

gigi: OH GOSH NO!!

jongin: good... what's that for?? [pointing at the gift basket]

gigi: oh... its imo-nie's birthday tomorrow 

jongin: oh~...should i give her a gift too??

gigi: i don't know.. its up to you... i going in...[shivers] how can you stay here in the cold

jongin: hehe [smiles]

 

gigi stood up, put the gift basket in her room and changed her clothes for work. at work gigi couldn't stop thinking about what happened between baekhyun and amy, and she keeps on looking at baekhyun. when gigi went to the back of the store baekhyun followed her..

 

baekhyun: ya...why do you keep looking at me??.. did you fall inlove with me?? [playful smile]

gigi: [laughs dryly] as if...

baekhyun: but seriously why have you been looking?? is there something you want to ask??

gigi: .... its about you and amy...

baekhyun: oh...what about it..

gigi: why did you go back to korea??

baekhyun: [sigh]... amy told you??

gigi: eung...

 

baekhyun sat at the table...

 

baekhyun: my dad... he threatened to kick my mom out of her work.my dad knew my mom's boss...

         since it was the only job that my mom could get we couldn't afford her to lose that

         job... and my dad agreed to give them money once in awhile...so i just went..

gigi: oh~ so that's what happened...

baekhyun: can you...um.. dont tell amy..

gigi: why?? if i tell her things might get better between you guys..

baekhyun: just dont... i'll tell her myself 

gigi: ok... 

baekhyun: so.... i heard you have a fan club now..

gigi: what?!?

baekhyun: you have a fan club... i think it has 10 members now??

gigi: wah... really??

baekhyun: but you have anti-fans too...

gigi: i know... *Joosung is one of them*

baekhyun: but you've got nothing to worry about... they wont hurt you... except those crazy ati-fans...

gigi:[shivers] their so creepy...

[silence]

baekhyun: so.... do you have plans tomorrow?? theres an party i think... i was thinking if you

         wanted to go too... 

gigi: ...*a date?? >///<*

baekhyun: its not a date, the other guys will be there too... you can invite mei and the others too..

gigi: sorry, but i have plans...

baekhyun: ohh ok...

 

then they heard hyunwoo call gigi..

 

baekhyun: boss is calling you 

 

gigi left. when baekhyun got down from the table he stepped on something soft and squishy....it was dog's poop..

 

baekhyun: aish.... [sigh] 

 

after gigi's shiff she went home and as always, went straight to her bed. when gigi turned around she saw the gift basket on her table. she sighed and got up from her bed. on her balcony she was trying to call chanhee but no one answered. after a few calls gigi got pissed and went to throwing pebbles to chanhee's window. finally chanhee got out of his room

 

gigi: what took you so long... [pised]

chanhee: now you know how irritating its is to be ignored 

gigi: whatever. here's the gift... give me $30

 

chanhee got his wallet and gave gigi $26 ... 

 

gigi: ya!! i said 30!

chanhee: come on give me a master's discount 

gigi: no [straight faced]

chanhee: give me a discount or i'll tell them

gigi: what?!... you-...[sigh].. ok..

 

gigi was about to go back to her room 

 

chanhee: george!

gigi: can you not call me george -_-

chanhee: whatever george...i'll call you george if i want to..

gigi:[sigh] what is it already...

chanhee: my mom said to come over tomorrow...its a party... we'll not a big one just with family 

        and some friends

gigi: sure..

 

gigi went in her room, took a shower and went to sleep. The next day at 6 pm, in front of chanhee's gate, gigi took a deep breath before ringing the doorbell. and chanhee's mom was the one who opened the gate.

 

yeonhee: george-ie!!

gigi: imo-nie... call me gigi...

yeonhee: ok. gigi

gigi: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! 

 

gigi held out a small box covered in a polka dots 

 

yeonhee: oh~ you dont have to... thank you!! come in...

 

gigi went in the house and it smelled so good 

 

gigi:[inhales]*imo-nie's cooking is smells so nice...*

yeonhee: your kind of early the others are still on the way... you get to be the first one

         to eat my delicious food

gigi: hehe ^^

 

gigi went to the dining area and saw various dishes and snacks. she grabbed a plate and got enough food and went to the living room. while gigi was eating chanhee went down..

 

chanhee: wah... what's a pig doing in my sofa..

gigi: haha [laughs dryly] 

chanhee: [sigh] this is gonna be a long night..

gigi: why??

chanhee: mostly only my boring relatives go to my mom's birthday party ...i dont event know why

         she has to throw a party, she's already 40...-_-

gigi: its cute how your mom tries to make herself young

chanhee: after some time you'll get sick of it..

 

chanhee stood up and got a plate. gigi was already finished with her 1st plate and went to the kitchen..

 

chanhee: eat slowly will you... eat like a girl for ones

 

gigi made a face and when she was about to scoop of spaghetti they heard a familiar voice
