“Why didn’t you tell me?” Jia said in a disappointed tone. “I wanted to get you something too.” Soohyun walked over and sat next to Jia on the couch. “I don’t celebrate my birthday.” Jia pouted. “Neither do I but you still got me something. Now I feel horrible for not getting you anything.” Soohyun took Jia’s hand into a tight grip. “You did give me something.” Jia raised her eyebrows. “No I didn’t.” Soohyun moved his face closer to hers. Jia felt her heartbeat go faster. “Yes you did, you.” Soohyun captured Jia’s lips in a long passionate kiss while he pulled her closer to his body. Jia made a little pleased sigh as Soohyun deepened the kiss with his tongue. They gently pulled away and stared into each other’s eyes. “I’m still mad at you.” Jia said as she moved her hands over his chest with a flustered face. Soohyun chuckled as he kissed her on the tip of her nose. “Not for long.” Soohyun said while running his fingers through Jia’s hair. “What is that supposed to mean?” Jia gave him a confused look. “How can you keep on being mad when I do this?” Soohyun huskily said as he started to kiss her neck with little butterfly kisses. Jia moaned as he found her sweet spot. Soohyun stopped and looked into Jia’s eyes. “Still mad?” Jia shook her head and leaned in for another kiss.

“Jia? Have you seen Dongho’s teddy bear? I can’t seem to find it” Jia walked into Dongho’s room with a white fluffy teddy bear in her hands. “It was in the kitchen. I think Dongho played tea party or something.” Soohyun chuckled. “I need to get that boy to be more like a boy.” Soohyun said as he packed the teddy bear into Dongho’s bag. “I think it’s cute.” Jia said as she went over to the dresser to find Dongho’s pyjama. “I think we got it all now.” Soohyun said and sipped Dongho’s weekend bag. “Are you sure Dongho will be okay? I mean he just barely got back from your parents and now he’s spending the weekend at your brother’s place. Don’t you think that’s a little too much?” Jia asked as sat on the edge of Dongho’s bed. “It’s good for him to interact. Besides, my brother is gay so there will be no woman problems there.” Soohyun said with a smile. “But it pleases me that you are this concerned about my son.” Soohyun patted Jia on the head. “How can I not be? I love that kid so much.” Soohyun laughed as he got Jia to stand up. “He needs a figure like you in his life.” He gently held Jia close to his body. “I’m glad you are in our lives Jia.” Jia felt warm. “I’m glad to be in your lives.” She gently said as she hugged Soohyun even tighter “I love you.” Jia said in a low voice. Soohyun caressed her cheek. “I love you too.”

The doorbell rang and Soohyun quickly opened the door. “Hi Hyung.” Hoon greeted with an overexcited smile on his lips. “Hi… Why are you so excited?” Hoon walked in and spun around as Soohyun closed the door. “This is the first time you are letting me take care of Dongho alone, so you must have some alternate motive.” Hoon flashed a bright smile. “No I don’t. I just thought I would be good for him.” Soohyun looked away as his brother tried to decipher if he was lying or not. “You’ve planned something with Jia, haven’t you?” Hoon’s smile turned into a smirk. Soohyun just glared at him. “No.” Hoon crossed his arms over his chest. “Liar.” Soohyun rolled his eyes. “If you must know… I’m taking her on a second date.” Hoon nodded. “Are you hoping it will end as good as the first?” Hoon said in a teasing tone. “Shut up.” Soohyun said coldly as he turned to go into the kitchen.

“Hey there Jia!” Hoon cheerfully greeted as he walked over to give her a hug. “How nice to see you again.” Jia said as she returned the hug. Hoon looked over her shoulder to see what she was doing on her laptop. “Is that the new book?” Jia nodded. “I’m doing the final arrangements before starting to actually write it.” Hoon just nodded. “Now where is my little buddy?” Jia gave a warm smile. “He’s in his room. I think he wanted to draw you a picture.” Hoon just chuckled and went towards Dongho’s room.  She heard laughter come from the room the instant Hoon entered. “I guess he missed his uncle.” Jia said to herself while she smiled a heart-warming smile.

Soohyun gave Hoon the bag and remembered him for the 107^th time to take good care of Dongho. “Hyung you worry too much. Kiseop and I are going to give him the best weekend ever.” Soohyun still looked worried. “Noona.” Hoon said in a serious tone. “Please take my brother’s mind off of his worries.” Jia flashed a reassuring smile. “I will do my best Hoon and don’t call me noona. I’m the same age as you.” Hoon made a mental note of that and got Dongho to say his goodbyes. “Noona.” Dongho’s little voice stumbled the word out. Jia couldn’t help but smile and took him up for a tight hug. “Take care kiddo.” Jia said as she gave him a little kiss on the forehead. Soohyun embraced both Jia and Dongho as he gently said how much he loved his son. Hoon couldn’t help but smile at the sight before him. They looked just like a little happy family.

Soohyun locked himself into Jia’s apartment and heard music coming from the kitchen. As he entered he saw that Jia was baking some muffins while wearing a pink apron. He smiled to himself at the sight. “Looks who’s acting like a real housewife.” Soohyun said while leaning against the doorframe. Jia looked up with a surprised look. “I didn’t even hear you come in.” Soohyun chuckled. “Maybe that’s because of the music.” Jia made an “oh” expression and quickly walked over to turn the volume down. She turned back to her baking. “So what brings you to my baking class this afternoon?” Jia asked with a grin as she put the first couple of muffins in the oven. “Wanted to see you, that’s all.” Soohyun walked over and gave Jia light peck on the cheek. “When are you off to work?” Soohyun sat down at the kitchen table. “In about an hour.” Jia nodded as she started to fill up some more muffin forms. “So I guess you have a late night?” Soohyun nodded. “Until midnight. It is Friday after all.” Jia made an understanding expression. “So are you doing anything exciting this evening?” Soohyun asked. “Kevin and Jaeseop are coming over. We are having a movie night, like the old times. Yuna couldn’t come since she has the night shift at the hospital and we were going to invite you too, but you also have work and so does Eli.” Jia said while mixing some icing. “So that’s why you are baking?” Jia nodded and flashed a smile. “Plus, I like baking.” Soohyun smiled back. “I’ll be sure to attend next time then.” Soohyun stood up and walked over to Jia and placed his hands around her waist, making Jia drop the spoon she was holding and splash dough all over herself. “Aish.. Now look what you did!” Jia said while laughing slightly. Soohyun turned Jia around so he could see the mess. He started laughing and took some of the dough from her face on his finger. “Vanilla?” Soohyun said in a saccadic tone. Jia made a pouty face hand gave Soohyun a light slap on the chest. “Just give me a napkin already.”

Soohyun laughed as he started to clean her off with the napkin and as he was almost done, he saw that there were a bit on her lip too. Soohyun leaned down and Jia’s bottom lip to get it off. “There.” He whispered. “All clean.” Jia felt her heart skip a beat as Soohyun now kissed her lips with full force. Jia instantly wrapped her arms around his neck as she melted into the kiss. Soohyun pulled away as he caressed Jia cheek. “Why are am I considering calling Eli and telling him I’m sick today?” Soohyun looked into Jia’s beautiful green eyes. Jia chuckled and only held him tighter. “Eli would know your lying.” Soohyun nodded. “Well I better go before I do something… reckless.” Soohyun kissed Jia once again and left her apartment. Jia stood back with a dreamy look on her face. “Why is he so perfect?”

“No not that one!” Kevin whined as Jaeseop and Jia had chosen The Ring as the first movie. “You are kidding me right?” Jaeseop said as he raised an eyebrow. “You are still afraid of horror movies?” Kevin just nodded in embarrassment. “I have a solution.” Jia said as she looked over at Kevin. “How about you choose the next movie? You have the full 100% right and we can’t say no.” Kevin thought for a while and then agreed to the terms. “Don’t worry Kevin, I’ll hold your hand.” Jaeseop said with a teasing tone. Kevin frowned and made a pouty face. “Like hell you will.” Kevin coldly said as he changed his seat so he was now next Jia instead of Jaeseop. “Oh come on you two.” Jia took both of their hands. “You were the ones who suggested this, so let’s make the best of it.” Jia flashed both of them a breathtaking smile. Jaeseop and Kevin called it truce and all three started to watch the movie.

Suddenly Kevin stood up as he was holding his phone in his hand. “I’m really sorry but I have to go. Yuna got hurt.” Kevin looked like he was about to panic. “What?!” Jia stood up and saw the message on the phone. One of Yuna’s friends had written that Yuna had fallen down the stairs and broke her leg and a couple of ribs and that she was now unconscious. Jia held her hand over . “Oh my god. Will she be okay?” Kevin worriedly looked at Jia. “I don’t know.” Jia started to push Kevin towards the door. “What are you still doing here? Hurry and go to her. Remember to call me when you know more.” Kevin rushed out of the apartment as Jia just sat down next to Jaeseop again. “Poor Yuna.” Jia’s voice sounded worried. Jaeseop leaned back into the couch. “So he’s still with Yuna?” Jia nodded and looked over at him. “They are to get married this summer.” Jaeseop looked a bit shocked to hear that. “Why so shocked?” Jaeseop shrugged. “It’s just amazing. They have been together for like 8 years.” Jia nodded and smiled a bit. “They are two amazing people.”

It didn’t take long before Jia got a text from Kevin telling her that Yuna was okay and that she would recover quickly. Both Jia and Jaeseop seemed relieved. “Well now that that’s out of the way, how about some muffins.” Jia said with a smile as she stood up to go get them. She soon came back with a tray full of muffins. “Eat as many as you want.” Jia said as she put the tray down on her little table in front of the couch. “Woah.. They look really delicious.” Jaeseop said as his eyes had a cheerful vibe to them. Jia just smiled and turned around so she could sit back down. As she did so she tripped and fell unto Jaeseop’s lap. “If you wanted to sit on me you could just have ask.” Jaeseop said with his usual teasing grin plastered on his face. Jia’s cheeks instantly became red while she quickly moved away and sat down a bit further away. Jaeseop looked over at her with his catlike eyes and smirked. “How come you keep getting more and more attractive?” Jia just looked down and ignored his question. “Are we gonna watch the movie or what?” Jia asked as she calmed herself down. Jaeseop smirked as he took a muffin and turned his attention back to the screen.

The time was around midnight when Jaeseop decided to take his leave. “We should do this again some time.” Jia nodded. “Well goodnight Jia and don’t have too many ual dreams about me tonight.” Jaeseop winked as he put on his jacket. Jia rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah whatever you say Jaeseop.” Jia waved as Jaeseop walked down the stairs and when he was gone she shut her door.

“Time for bed.” She said to herself as she started to strip her clothes. She threw it all in her laundry basket and walked to her closet to find a nightgown. As she stood there, searching through her closet she suddenly felt two hands grab her waist. Jia’s entire body stiffened. “I’ve told you not to look like this in front of me, and in my favourite colour too.” Soohyun’s smooth voice whispered into her ear. “I won’t be able to control myself.” Jia’s body felt hot and her heart was beating in a quick pace. Soohyun moved his hands over her bare stomach as he started to kiss her neck. Jia moaned as Soohyun was massaging her s. His hand then started to move lower and lower until he reached the outline of Jia’s . He started to move his fingers over the now wet fabric. Jia’s opened her eyes. “It was a dream? It felt so real.” Jia was laying on her couch with a blanket over her. She didn’t remember when she had fallen asleep but the time was about 4am now. Jia sat up as she ran her fingers through her soft hair. “Wauw, what a dream.” Jia said as she stood up. She could feel that her face was flustered and her heart was beating fast. After the dream she was really longing after Soohyun, after his touch. Jia shook her head to get the thoughts to disappear. “Geez…” She said as she changed into her nightgown. “I wonder if Soohyun got home safe.” Jia walked to her bedroom and as she entered she saw a figure sleeping in her bed, Soohyun. Jia couldn’t help but smile. She quickly snuggled up next to him and just lay there, studying his sleeping face. Jia caressed his cheek as she gently smiled. “Sleep tight.” She whispered before she dozed off.

“Rise and shine honey!” Soohyun’s voice woke Jia up from her slumber. “What time is it?” Jia asked while rubbing her eyes in a very cute way. “8am.” Jia threw her head back into the pillow. “Just three more hours.” She said while pulling the covers over herself. Soohyun frowned. “Oh no you don’t. I have something special planned for today.” Jia looked up with tired eyes and yawned. “Can’t we just spend the day in bed?” Jia asked with a voice full of aegyo. Soohyun just shook his head. “Tempting, but no.” He leaned down to give Jia a good morning kiss. Jia took this as her chance to get him back into bed. She wrapped her arms around Soohyun and pulled him down so he was now lying next to her on the bed. Jia quickly got on top of him and held him down. “I win.” Jia cheerfully sang as Soohyun just looked stunned. Soohyun came back to his senses and before Jia could blink, Soohyun was on top of her instead. “Nice try dear, but you’ll have to do better than that.” Soohyun smirked down at Jia. Jia made a pouty face and tried to wiggle herself free from his grip. Soohyun leaned down and captured Jia’s lips in a loving kiss. “Now get ready for a day outside.” Soohyun said as he hopped off the bed.
