"Umma, why did you call me back for?" Kai asked as he made his way to the stairs. 

"We're going to meet your father's old friend. Dress up nicely, I heard they have a beautiful daughter." His mother winked. Kai sighed. 

"Umma, I already have Jina. I'm going to marry her, no one else. Stop pairing me up with chaebol daughters."

"What we're doing is for your own good, Jongin. Your father doesn't agree to Jina, same applies to me. Now be a good boy and go dress up," Kai's mother replied, exasperated. Kai gave a curt nod and headed for his bedroom. 

Kai sighed for the umpteen time and glanced at his Prada watch. *Damn this family is late. Don't they know basic manners?* He thought as he bit his lip. 

"Jongsuk! Inhee! So sorry for being late!" A woman's voice was rang. Kai looked up to see his parents hugging another couple. He immediately stood up to greet them, but his eyes soon drifted to the gorgeous young lady near them. She was wearing a short white dress that stopped a few inches above her knees. She didn't seem like the typical chaebol daughter that he had imagined. 

When their eyes met, Kai swore his heart stopped. 

*It's her* He thought, eyes widening at the shock. Soo Jung, on the other hand, was in shock too. 

*It's the hot guy!* She mentally squealed in her head. Soo Jung's mother sensed the eye contact that the two young people had and decided to break the ice.

"Have you two met before?" She asked, eyeing Kai, before offering her hand for him to shake.

" Annyeonghaseyo, Park Yejin imnida. You can call me auntie. This is my husband, Kwon Jaejin. And this, is my daughter, Kwon Soo Jung." Kai blinked at her several times, before bowing a full 90 degrees and extended his hand for a handshake. 

"Annyeonghaseyo, Kim Jongin imnida. Nice to meet you." Kai then turned to Soo Jung and gave her a warm smile, offering his hand. "Nice to meet you too, Soo Jung-sshi." Soo Jung smiled softly and returned the favour.
