"CEO of Kim's Resorts Chain to tie the knot with Heiress of Kwon Banking Group." The photos. The interview. She saw how Kai's hand was wrapped tightly around Soo Jung's waist. She saw how bright his smile was. The smile that was only evident when he was with her. She saw how he denied their relationship, claiming them as cousins. Jina saw it all. She turned her gaze away from the television and gripped tightly on her sofa, breathing deeply. Jina wasn't angry, she was hurt. Yes she may be a money-loving freak who would do anything for it, but after all Kai had been her boyfriend for two years. Jina wasn't an emotionless creature with no heart. She had feelings too. And in the two short yet meaningful years spent with Kai, she could feel his sincerity, his love for her. His true love. Kai tolerated everything she did, all her spoilt childish ways, all her flaws, her everything. He showered her with unconditional love. And Jina had slowly been accustomed to his care and concern, that she started to take everything for granted. Jina then remembered how disapproving Kai's parents were of her. How her background was nowhere compared to Soo Jung's. And most importantly, how attractive Soo Jung was. Sure Jina knew she was pretty too, but Soo Jung outshone anyone. She just seemed to radiate a charm that no one could ever have. Soo Jung was just so beautiful that even Jina could not deny. Suddenly, she wasn't afraid of Soo Jung falling in love with Kai. Instead, it seemed to be the other way round. And for the first time ever, Jina felt insecure. Kai's eyes widened at the news. The reporters had exaggerated everything. He didn't mention that Soo Jung was his only love. He didn't mention that he loved no one else. He didn't say anything like that at all. Kai knew he should have expected this, but he couldn't help but feel anxiety rushing up his body. He remembered what Soo Jung asked him on the day they were trying out their outfits.
