A few months passed in a jiffy.

Kai had (finally) managed to apologise to Soo Jung with the bouquet of white tulips, and had gotten her forgiveness. The scandal between Kai and Jina had also died down, and the latest edition of a YSL bag had also earned him Jina’s forgiveness.

It was soon the day before the wedding. Kai and Soo Jung were at their bachelorette parties, having a whale of a time.

Kai was with his group of friends, Exo, in a private lounge at a club. It was a high-end club owned by one of Kai’s friends, Lay.

Jina had originally wanted to tag along, but since none of his friends were bringing their girlfriends, Kai felt that it wasn’t appropriate for her to come.

“Kai, drink up!” Chanyeol called, as he handed another glass of liquor. Kai accepted it and gave a salute, before gulping down the drink in one go. They all had their fair share of alcohol, and people with low alcohol tolerance like Kris and Tao were on the verge of passing out. The boys were having a blast, with loud music playing through the speakers and bottles of liquor slowly emptying.

“Hey it’s time to open our presents for Kai!” Baekhyun shouted, projecting his voice through the loud music. The boys whistled and cheered as they gathered together in a huge circle. One by one, they passed their presents and gave their blessings to Kai and his future wife.

Suho and Kris, the leaders of the team, shared cost to buy a new refrigerator and a 72 inch flat screen television for the couple, which Kai was incredibly thankful for. 

Lay had gotten an expensive suit for Kai. “Make sure I see you wear it often, brat.” He warned. Kai only laughed in response.

Xiumin and Luhan had gotten him a bag of undies from his favourite brand, leaving Kai utterly speechless.

D.O had tried to get by with a hug with lots of love (as he claimed), but he only got a kick with lots of love from Kai instead. Chuckling, he handed Kai a couple necklace.

“Aren’t things like this supposed to be bought by me?” Kai asked, accepting the necklaces. D.O patted his back in an assuring manner. “That’s why I’m the umma, dear Jongin.”

Chen and Sehun had gotten their present gift wrapped, and Kai nearly rolled his eyes when he opened it. Should’ve known. Those two scumbags. They had picked out several items from a convenience store, specifically toothpaste, band aids, cotton balls and work gloves, even writing down the prices for each product.

Though they were absolutely kind to also leave the receipt in the bag, stating that the amount totaled up to $7.10. Oh wow.

Tao had given a wushu stick and a hammer that he specifically told Kai to give to Soo Jung, so that she could use them to wallop him whenever he was being . He got a smack on the head in return.

Chanyeol and Baekhyun, who were the legendary erts of the team, handed Kai a large polka dotted box with a big pink ribbon on top. Kai eyed it suspiciously. Throughout the whole night, he had been wondering about the gift from both of them. They were famous trolls, especially during birthdays. Kai still remembered his 21st birthday where they got him a pack of spongebob undies, got him tipsy with alcohol, and used that chance to make him parade in those horrifying yellow undies.
