Chapter 2
The Guardian of EXOplanet
I sighed. It's been 3 hours. . .
I huffed and went back inside, pulling my luggage behind me.
I stormed up to my room and threw my bags onto my bed.
I walked over to my mirror, resting on my dresser.
I thought back. That guy talked about. . . spells?
Feeling foolish, I spoke in a confident voice.
"Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
who's the fairest of them all?"
Nothing happened.
I felt myself sag with disappointment, but when I turned around, I heard a low, booming voice.
"Silly, silly, can't be you!
You, the fairest, can't be true!"
I whirled around to see a floating white mask smirking at me.
"W-Who are you?"
The mask stayed silent.
"Okay then. Should I rhyme?"
There was a flash of a smile, but it disappeared as soon as it came.
I sighed and thought.
"Who, are you?" I asked wimpily.
It laughed.
"Rudem Sapientiam, at your service,
Silly, stupid, ain't you nervous?
For I am called the Rude Wisdom,
And speaking will be my decision.
For when your guest comes to this room,
My words will be at max volume!"
It laughed again, before resuming its silence.
Then I realized:
"What guest?"
"Why, ~~~'s mind is so poor,
she can't see who's at the door!
Silly, stupid, idiot!
Can't you do a quick pivot?"
Then the doorbell rang.
"Shoot!" I blurted.
How to silence this. . . 7-year old. . . I thought.
"Don't make a peep, so sleep."
The mask laughed before disappearing.
I sighed, and ran downstairs. Then I flung open the door.
"Hello?"
"~~~!"
Isn't the mirror so annoying?
For me, at least.
I have to make him rhyme.
Why?
You'll see!
