The Guardian of EXOplanet
Description
"Pick up. . . pick up!" I heard.
I saw only darkness, until I saw a small white spark. Then the spark flashed and it grew into a swirl of energy and a blonde guy was smiling in the middle.
"Thank goodness I got through! You have a lot of spells on your mind, you know that, ~~~?" he said.
Confused, I opened my mouth but he interrupted me.
"No time! We're coming right now to pick you up! Be outside of your house in 3 hours. Pack up EVERYTHING. We have plenty of room, so don't regret it later! See ya soon!" he waved, and the swirl collasped on itself. Then the black engulfed everything.
I opened my eyes. The first thing that popped into my head was "mom." She always said, "Dreams are important, ~~~. They show the past, the present, and the possible future. The most crucial, though, is that you can communicate through dreams. Never lose your dreams, ~~~. Or else you'll lose me whe- if I die." I remembered that she looked so old and sad when she said that to me, and the next day, she disappeared. No one's found her yet. And that was 7 years ago.
I pulled out my dream journal, so that I could remember my dreams, just for mom. I quickly scribbed each detail until I was sure that mom would be satisfied.
After taking a deep breath, I started to pack.
