Kris: Tao, do you love me?

Tao felt uncomfortable, he doesn’t know what to say.

Tao: What kind of question is that gege?

Kris: Please, answer me.

Tao: O-of course. You’re my Hyung right, I love my Hyung!

 

Kris felt his heart prickled with thorns.

 

“ I knew it, he doesn’t love me.”

 

Tao: Why are you asking me?

Kris turned away.

Kris: N-nothing.

PRESENT…

 

 

 

Tao sighed as he remembered that. He broke YiFan’s heart. And he was cursing at himself for hurting him.

He went outside the house and breathed the fresh air.

He sighed again.  As he recalled a memory, but this time, this memory gave him so much pain because that’s the start he felt Kris was distancing away from him. They didn’t talk too much and Kris is always gone somewhere.

Tao was eating lunch at the cafeteria. He saw Kris. He smiled. He was about to call him but he stop. He’s with their classmate, Jessica, the most beautiful girl in the campus. Tao looked away. He felt his heart aching.

“ He had lunch with her. “ he sighed.

“Hey there, Tao-Tao!!!” a voice on his back.

He looked and saw his classmate, MinHo, His closed friend.

Tao: Hey MinHo! Wanna have lunch with me?

MinHo: Sure, I was looking for an available chair for 10 minutes, and lucky I saw you!

Tao smiled. And pinch his cheeks.

Tao: Aigoo, you’re so cute my friend!

MinHo: Aish! Yah ( his cheeks while smiling) don’t pinch my cheeks.

Tao: Hahaha!

 

They ate and ate.

After that they went on their room. Tao glanced at Kris. He’s with Jessica again. They looked at Tao.

Jessica: Oh, Hi Tao.

Kris just nodded.

Tao: H-hi (Sat up on his chair)

 

“Hi, Tao!”

He looked at the person who greeted him.

It was their classmate again, DongHae.

Tao: Hi, DongHae.

 

DongHae smiled and Tao seemed to be flushed in pink.

 

Kris saw it. He felt his heart aching like Tao’s.

 

“ No, you have to forget your feelings for him YiFan! He doesn’t love you”

 

Jessica: Kris?

He turned to see Jessica.

Kris: Yes?

Jessica: Can you me back home when the class ends?

Kris: Uhm, s-sure.

Jessica: Thanks! (She kissed his cheek)

 

Tao’s eyes widen when he saw that, he immediately looked away.

LuHan was busy sipping on his favorite bubble tea, when he felt someone hugged him from the back.

SeHun: Hyung!!!!!!

LuHan: SeHunnie!!! (Smiling while blushing)

SeHun: Ohhhh is that a bubble tea Hyung?

He pointed at the cup LuHan was holding.

 

LuHan: Yes it is. You want a sip?

SeHun: Really? Can I?

LuHan: (smiled) Yes.

 

SeHun took a sip on the tea.

 

SeHun: Wow! It's very delicious!

LuHan: Yes it is!

SeHun: Thanks LuHan Hyung, I love you!

 

LuHan was used to that words but he didn’t expected that SeHun will kiss his cheek.

He turned red.

LuHan: Y-your w-welcome.

SuHo was walking home when he saw Tao and MinHo.

He called them.

“Tao! MinHo!”

 

The two looked at his direction.

Tao: SuHo Hyung!

They run towards him.

SuHo: Are you two walking home?

MinHo: Yeah, we are.

SuHo: Then let’s walk together.

Tao: Great idea!

 

“Uhm, can I walk with you guys?” a voice at their back.

 

SuHo turned and his eyes widen, he flushed in pink.

 

MinHo: Oh it’s Lay, come on!

Lay: Thanks! (Seeing SuHo) Hi, JoomYeon!

Lay smiled causing his cute dimples to appear.

SuHo: H-hi Y-YiXing. (Still blushing)

Lay wrapped his left arm on his shoulder.

Lay: Come on! (Smiling)

SuHo’s heart skipped a beat and this time he was blushing hard.

 

Tao smiled as he saw the two.

He whispered at MinHo.

Tao: (Whispering) Hyung, let’s walk faster so they can talk.

MinHo: (Smiling) Oh, sure.

They walked first, leaving SuHo and Lay behind.

 

Lay: So…… How’s your day?

SuHo: Uhm, it’s fine really. You?

Lay: Well same here. “Coz I get to see you everyday”

SuHo: Oh I see.

 

Tao: Lay! SuHo! We have to go on a opposite direction. See you! Bye!

 

Lay: Bye, take care.

 

MinHo and Tao went to a nearby café, while Lay escorted SuHo on their house.

They’ve reached it.

 

SuHo: Uhm, thanks for escorting me YiXing!

Lay: Oh, you’re welcome. (Smiling again)

SuHo smiled and step inside the house when Lay grabbed his hand.

Lay: JoomYeon…

SuHo: Y-yes?

 

Lay kissed his cheeks that make his eyes widen and blushed really hard.

Lay: (Smiled) Goodnight!

SuHo: G-g-g-g-good n-n-n-night! (He closed the door immediately)

He leaned on the door.

 

“ I can’t believe it! He kissed me. My ultimate crush kissed me! “

Lay was standing outside.

“YiXing why did you do that? Now he will be mad! You’re so stupid!”

Tao and MinHo we’re drinking their cappuccino when they saw their friends,  KyungSoo and JongIn.

Tao: KyungSoo Hyung!

MinHo: JongIn!

 

The two looked around and saw them.

KyungSoo: Hey Tao,  Hey MinHo Hyung!

JongIn: Can we join you here?

MinHo: Sure, no problem.

 

They sat there and they all drink their cappuccino.

 

Tao: So, looks like you two are official now huh? (Teasing)

KyungSoo: (Blushed) well, y-yeah.

MinHo: Wow, congrats for the two of you.

JongIn: Thanks. (Holding KyungSoo’s hands) Tao, I haven’t seen you around with Kris lately.

Tao: (Nervous) oh, well, Hyung is kind of busy these past few weeks.

KyungSoo: Oh well, He’s together with Jessica.

Tao: Well, yeah, they’re so close together.

 

He’s in pain right now after saying those words. But he never let them noticed that.

Jessica: Kris… I like you!

Kris: (Eyes widen) What?

Jessica: Kris, I like you so much! More than a friend.

Kris doesn’t know what to say.

He looked at Jessica and smiled.

Tao was sitting at their garden, watching those flowers.

 

“Ooohhh, looks like someone is very serious at those flowers.”

 

He looked around and saw his sister.

Tao: Tiffany Noona.

Tiffany: Hi Tao-Tao!

She kissed her brother’s cheek.

 

Tiffany: Are you ok? You look very serious, is something bothering you?

Tao: Noona, can I ask you something?

Tiffany: Anything Tao-Tao.

Tao: Uhm, what is this kind of emotion I’ve felt?

Tiffany: What kind of emotion? Can you tell an example?

Tao: Well,  I’ve been thinking for this person every day, every time I woke up, every time I went to sleep, every time I was sad and happy. What is this kind of feeling?

 

“THAT’S WHAT YOU CALLED LOVE”

 

They turned around and saw their cousin, TaeYeon.

Tao: Mwo? What Noona?

TaeYeon: That is love you’ve felt Tao. L-O-V-E Love!

Tiffany: Ohhhhh so our Tao-Tao s in love. (Teasing) Who’s the lucky one?

 

Tao blushed. He can’t say the name of that person.

Tao: It’s a certain person.

TaeYeon: Ooohhhh! When can we meet him/her?

Tao: Wait! Why didn’t feel it when I was young? Why now?

Tiffany: Because LOVE has also some process. It is developing there. (Pointing at his chest)

TaeYeon: You didn’t felt it when you are young coz you’re the only thing you know is you’re happy towards that person. Tao, LOVE BLOOMS AS YOU GROW, remember that.

 

Tao: LOVE BLOOMS AS YOU GROW… hmm, “ Maybe I should tell him what I feel”

TaeYeon: Ok, enough with that LOVE thing. Let’s eat, I’ve cooked curry.

Tiffany: (Smiled) Oh, my favorite! Come on Tao-Tao, let’s eat, I’m starving.

Tao went to the beach. Hoping that Kris would be there. And he is. Kris was sitting there on the sand watching the water washed to the shore. He smiled. And sat beside him.

Tao: Hi gege!

Kris widen his eyes when he saw him but he managed to greet him back.

Kris: Hello!

 

 

SILENCE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

 

Tao: It’s been a long time, right?

Kris: Yeah, how are you?

Tao: Well I’m fine.

 

SILENCE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

 

Tao: Uhm, Kris, I have something to tell you…

Kris: What is it?

Tao: Uhm, K-Kris, I j-just w-wanted t-to tell y-you t-that I…

 

 

Kris phone vibrated. He picked it out and answered the call.

 

Kris: Hello? Oh, Jessica.

Tao became sad.

 

Kris: Yeah, I promise you that, ok just wait for me. I’ll be there.

He ended the call.

 

Tao: Looks like you and Jessica are so close.

Kris: Y-yeah.

 

Tao: So close that you even forgotten your best friend.

Tears forming on Tao’s eyes.

Kris doesn’t know what to do. Seeing Tao sad makes his heart in PAIN.

 

Kris: I’m sorry Tao, but I’d never forget you, you’re still my best friend. But I think it’s not the same anymore. Time change and people change.

Tao: Go now Kris, Jessica is waiting for you.

 

They both standing there. But Tao is facing the sea.

 

Kris wrapped his arms on Tao’s waist and hugged him from behind.

Kris: I’m sorry Tao.

 

This time, Tao release those warm tears of his eyes.

“ If you only know that I love you YiFan ”

Tao: Go now Kris, Jessica is waiting.

He tried removed Kris arms, but Kris didn’t move it instead, he hugged him tighter.

“ Tao, if you can only know how much I missed you, how much I want to hold you like this and how much I want to say that I love you “

Kris is crying right now. They’re both crying.

 

Kris: I’m sorry Tao. (He released him)

Then Kris ran to the gate and disappeared.

 

Tao knelt on the ground; he sobbed and cried out loud.

“ I think it’s too late. ”

Tao is sitting on the bench alone, it’s lunch time but he didn’t have an appetite. He still thinking about what happen between him and Kris on the beach.

 

“Hey, Tao!”

 

He looked up and saw his friends, BaekHyun and ChanYeol, holding hands.

Tao smiled.

 

Tao: BaekHyun! ChanYeol! Hi guys. How are you?

ChanYeol: Well we’re both fine. You?

Tao looked away.

The two noticed it.

BaekHyun: Is something wrong?

ChanYeol: Tao…

Tao: N-nothing! I just missed you so much! (He hugged his two friends)

 

But ChanYeol and BaekHyun didn’t accept that reason. But still they hugged him too.

BaekHyun: Tao, I know it’s not the main reason.

ChanYeol: Tell us Tao, what is it?

 

Tao sob.

Tao: It’s Kris, he had forgotten me. He always hanged out with Jessica.

ChanYeol: Oh… maybe he just hanging out with others, you know be friendly to them.

BaekHyun: Sshhh, don’t cry Tao. He didn’t forgot you, I know that.

 

But Tao still crying, so the two let him until he’ll calm down.

Night…

LuHan was busy reading his favorite book when someone knocks on their door.

 

He opened it and his eyes to see SeHun, crying.

 

SeHun: Hyung!!! (He hugged LuHan and sobbed)

LuHan: SeHun! What happened? Why are you crying?

SeHun: I’m alone in the house and I heard some strange noises. Hyung, I’m scared!

LuHan chuckled. He knows that SeHun is afraid in ghost.

 

LuHan: Don’t be afraid SeHun, I’m here.

SeHun: Hyung! Can I sleep here with you?

 

Luhan’s eyes widen.

LuHan: SeHun…

SeHun: Please Hyung, I’m so scared.

LuHan: (Smiled) Ok.

SeHun: Yesssss! Thanks Hyung!

After a few moments he tucked SeHun to bed.

 

SeHun: Thanks for letting me sleep here Hyung!

LuHan smiled.

 

LuHan: Sleep well SeHun.

SeHun: Thanks again, I love you Hyung! (closing his eyes)

 

LuHan smiled, “I love you too, SeHun.”

 

SeHun eyes shot wide open. He got up. LuHan was shocked. Not because of SeHun got up but what he said just now.

 

SeHun: Hyung… you finally said it! This is the first time you said it to me! Hyung, I love you!!!!! (And kissed his both cheeks)

 

LuHan blushed but still smiled.

 

LuHan: Goodnight SeHun.

 

SeHun drop his body on the bed and sleep with a smile plastered on his face.

“Hi, Tao”

Tao looked up from his seat and saw her.

Tao: Hi Jessica.

Jessica: How are you?

Tao: Just fine. You?

Jessica: Well I’m very happy………………………………… So, I heard that you and Kris are best friends.

Tao: Yeah.

Jessica: I see, ahm I have something to ask…

Tao: What is it?

Jessica: Can you tell me what Kris likes?

Tao: Huh? Likes in what?

Jessica: In a certain person.

 

Tao don’t know what to answer. But he is in pain now because he was talking to Kris’ special someone.

 

Tao: Uhm… Kris is……

Jessica: Kris!

Tao looked around and saw Kris coming towards them. His heart panicked.

Kris: Jessica, I’ve been looking for yo-

He saw Tao.

 

Kris: H-Hi T-Tao.

Tao just nodded.

 

Jessica: Want to join us Tao? We’re going at the Coffee Shop.

Tao shook his head. “No, Thanks, Besides MinHo Hyung is waiting for me.”

Hearing this, Kris heart was busted. “Right, he didn’t need me anymore, he has MinHo”

 

Kris: Tao, can we meet on the beach later? I have something to tell you.

Tao just nodded but inside he was excited what will be Kris tell to him.

“ Maybe he will confess to me, I knew it, he also love me! “

“JoomYeon!”

 

SuHo was startled when someone called his real name. He looked at that someone and he blushed.

“YiXing”

 

Lay: JoomYeon, I’m sorry for what I did the other night. Please don’t be mad at me.

SuHo: That’s alright, YiXing. I’m not mad.

Lay: Really?

SuHo nodded.

 

Lay: Thanks (He pulled him in a hug)

 

SuHo blushed but still he smiled.

 

“I love you, JoomYeon” Lay whispered that made SuHo pulled out on their hug.

 

SuHo: W-What?

 

“N-nothing, I said. Let’s go JoomYeon” Lay said while scratching his head.

SuHo: Oh, ok.

 

But SuHo did heard what he said. He smiled at that thought.

 

Lay hold his hand, their heart both skipped a beat.

 

Lay: Let’s go!

Tao was happy, he’s at the beach right now. He’s waiting for Kris. His Kris.

It’s time for confessing their love for each other, he thought.

He was ready to say he loves him too.

 

Suddenly, Kris arrived. He smiled “This is it!”

But he’s smiled fade away when he saw he’s with Jessica.

 

Jessica waved at him. “Hi Tao!”

Tao just nodded.

 

Now they’re facing each other.

Tao: Kris, what is it you’re going to tell me? And why did you took Jessica with you?

 

Kris sighed deeply before answering the question.

 

“Tao, meet my girlfriend, Jessica”
