Drabble 6 : no one signed up for this, really
When We Were Young
Kyuhyun walks into the club room five minutes later than usual, fixing the collar of his school uniform and hoping to god that no one asks about the rather impressive bite mark on the side of his neck, the one Ryeowook left after he weaseled his way out of practice. No one turns to look at him when he enters, which isn’t so unusual, but everyone else is looking at Siwon with various degrees of horror and nausea, which is pretty normal all things considered.
He dumps his bag beside Sungmin and takes a seat on the floor, opening his mouth to ask about the situation, only Sungmin is too busy looking aghast to notice anything at the moment.
“You’re joking,” Kibum coughs politely, and tries to look less unnerved than he actually is.
Siwon shoots him a look but tries to keep the irritation out of his voice. “No, I’m not.”
“You are!” Kangin stands up abruptly, laughing nervously, “you are so ting us right now.”
Siwon draws himself up to his full height (which, compared to half the team, isn’t really much), looking as intimidating as Heechul did. “Ryeowook wants it, therefore we’re doing it. Feel free to raise your objections, but they will be heard half-heartedly and promptly dismissed.”
“I don’t think you’re supposed to use your power to make us look like idiots on purpose, hyung,” Kibum coughs again, and Eunhyuk sobs into Donghae’s shoulder, wondering who put the idea of synchronized swimming in Ryeowook’s head.
