Aaron was driving to the airport. He wants to go as far as he can away from her… away
from the one he love. For her happiness he is trying his best to put on a brave front but
tears starts forming his eyes. He lets out a bitter smile. He must be crazy hurting himself
so much. But he knew it better off this way. He would rather see himself suffer than to
see her cry again.
“Goodbye Gui!” he said as tears falls from his eyes. He let them fall freely to lessen the
pain. He doesn’t care if he looks pathetic right now. He stops his car for a while to get a
hold of his self. He places his forehead on the wheel and cry.

Gui gui was ridding a cab. Her heart is beating so fast; as she looks at her watch.
“Sir, could we go a little faster. I’m in a hurry” she begs.
Her hands start to sweat. She’s trying her best not to cry. She needs to meet him. She
can’t let him go away.
“Aaron please wait for me”
She talk to Yatou on the phone and from her she learned that Aaron book a flight to New
York by 2 pm. She tried calling his phone but its no use… it was turned off.
“Damn!” she wanted to break into tears as the cab begun to slow down due to traffic.
“Excuse me, I’ll get off here thank you.” She said as she gave the driver money.
Gui gui get off of the cab and starts to walk. She can’t afford to waste any more time.

Aaron begins to start his engine he finally calmed down. He looks at his watch it is still
1:15 he need to get on the plane at 1:45 he could still make it. He adjusted his rearview
mirror and he saw her…
“I’m starting to get delusional”
He look back to get a clearer view. No matter how many times he blinks his eyes her
image remains. Gui gui wandering around like crazy in the midst of a traffic jam. She
looks so tired. He went down on his car and starts to move closer to her.

Gui gui notice him. She lets out a smile as if she regains new strength she run into him
and hugs him tightly.
Aaron holds her face and stares at her. She then broke into tears.
“Why are you leaving? You said you love me… why?” she said in between sob.
Aaron brushes her tears away.
“I love you so much and for you to be happy I’m letting you go.”
Gui gui push him away and look at him fiercely.
“How could you say that?! How could I ever be happy without you?” she said the last
part in a low tone but it is loud enough for Aaron to hear. Like a beautiful music it puts a
smile on his face.
“Is it too much to ask if I want you to stay?” Gui gui added.
“All you have to do is say the word and I would never leave your side forever.” He said
with a smile. He’s hoping against hope that what she said means…
“I…” she stops for a few second.
“I’m so sorry Aaron…”
Like a bomb hit him. Aaron becomes shock. The pain is immeasurable. He lets out a
bitter smile. He was ready to leave.
“I’m so sorry for always causing you pain… so now I want to start being the cause of
your happiness… I Love you, Aaron Yan… I love you my best friend.”
Aaron hugs her tightly. He stares at her face to see if she’s joking and smile. He kisses
her lips; a kiss to seal a promise that he would never ever let her go. Nothing could match
the happiness he feels both of them felt like time stood still; that they are the only one in
the world. The magic broke as they heard horns and cheers. They look around and saw all
people watching them. The couple broke into laughter. They hug each other once more.
Aaron took her hand and led her to his car.
Inside the car both of them has smile on their face. No one dared to speak. Aaron stares at
Gui gui. He still can’t believe she is sitting next to him right now as his Girlfriend. He
didn’t want to close his eyes or even blink out of fear that she’ll vanish. He’s afraid that
he might wake up and everything was just a dream.
Gui gui pinch his cheeks.
“Ouch!” Aaron reacts.
Gui gui giggles.
“Why did you do that for?” Aaron asks while rubbing his cheeks.
“I love you” she said as she stole him a kiss. She smiled at him cheekily.
Aaron stares at her and smile.
“I love you more” he then gave him a tight hug and a kiss on the lips.
Aaron knew that everything wasn’t a dream. Everything that happens was fate. For they
are both destined from the start. They both found their happiness in the arms of the one
they love.
