A Challenge for love
Fated Rival
“Gui gui?” a voice called after a knock.
Gui gui look herself in the mirror. She reaches for the tissue and dry her face. Contented
with what she saw she opened the door.
“Are you Ok?” Wang zi asked in a concerned tone.
“Yup” Gui gui said with a smile. She starts to head back to the corridor when she notices
Wang zi was not moving from where he stands.
“Wang zi?”
“I know your hurting… There’s no need to pretend” Wang zi said while staring at the
ground. He felt worthless. He knew very well the pain she’s going though. He knew how
hard it is for her. He is her fiancé while Aaron is her best friend. She didn’t have the heart
to hurt neither of them; but he just can’t let her go.
Wang zi hugged her tightly.
“I’m sorry” he murmured.
Tears then begun to flow freely from her eyes. She lets herself free with no pretension.
All she wants is to loosen the burden from her heart.

“We need to end this” Aaron announced.
Wang zi look at him with confusion. The two of them were currently in the garden that
time.
“Gui gui is suffering… if she can’t choose between us, lets settle this our selves. One of
us must give up.” Aaron continued.
Wang zi look at him with a fierce look.
“Lets have a final duel… who ever wins will have her heart and the one who loss would
leave her side forever.” Aaron challenge
“A duel?”
“Yup, a final race. Just like before… but this time Gui gui would be our prize.” Aaron
said in a serious tone.
“Are you sure about that? Are you sure you can gave her up?” Wang zi asked.
“It’s better off like this than to hurt her even more.” Aaron reply
Wang zi understand what he means. They need to do something both of them didn’t want
to see her cry anymore.
“A final race… on Friday same place. I’m sure you’ll regret this… I’ll win so better keep your promise.” Wang zi said confidently.
Aaron lets out a smirk.
