CL staggered down the Han River

‘Doojoon-ah! Neon nappun namja! ‘

“I can’t believe I’m doing this for you… I love you this much DooJoon. And I hope you know that.”

CL stepped unsteadily onto the raised cement by the river.  She couldn’t believe her actions right now.  The image of a strong girl she had always been carrying throughout her life shattered under the moonlight as she prepared herself to commit suicide.

As she stood precariously, with her whole weight pinning onto the narrow stone, Chaerin held tightly to one of the metal bars. She closed her eyes, summoning the indefinite courage to release her grip…

“He’s not going to cry for you…”

The monotonous voiced knocked her back to reality. In her dizzy state, she turned back to search for a face. A dark silhouette sitting on the bench approached her.  As the figure neared her, a hand reached out to her.

“Come down already…”

Intoxicated, CL could barely make out the words spoken by the unknown man.

“GO AWAY!”

CL shouted as she swung her arm at the man, making feeble attempts to push him away. She lost her footing and stumbled…
