It has been a whole 24 hours since the death of L.Joe… I’m in shock to say at the least. L.Joe was a longtime friend who I have known since I was a little Yoma in the almost barren Frost Lands. After a long 22 years to be exact, I was finally able to see him again, though it was not what I had in mind. I have always longed to see L.Joe, but I didn’t necessarily get what I hoped for, nonetheless we were reunited. The reunion was cut short – an hour maybe – when L.Joe started to vanish. I literally watched him die right before my eyes. We never really exchanged a proper farewell…

“Krystal,” Myungsoo calls out. I turn to look at him.

“You’re crying again…” It is only now that I notice the salty water wetting my pale skin.

“Oh,” I shortly say as I wipe the tears away.

I hear Myungsoo sigh, “Why do you cry?” He asks.

I can feel him staring, urging me to at least spare him a glance.

Myungsoo grips my arms, and without warning, he spins my body to face him in an almost violent manor. He expresses irritation and I avert my eyes to the scenery behind him. Just behind the peaks of the snowcapped trees, a castle – or I so believe it to be – can be seen. I squint my eyes, unsure if what I’m seeing is just a mere mirage – no – it is a castle!

Myungsoo gently shakes me from his grip on my arms. I am forced to break away from the castle.
