KAI P.O.V

Kris sat at the kitchen bench, a glass of water clutched in his hands. Kai stood next to him, stirring cookie batter. He didn't really know why; he just felt the need to bake, and Kris happily let him.
Kris had shown up earlier that morning, explaining that Tao had vanished from the house, without so much as leaving a note behind. Kai wasn't surprised, anyway. Tao probably needed to get away for a while -and should have the freedom to do so. But Kris looked utterly defeated, anyhow, for some reason.

'Oh, come off it, Kris! Your birthday couldn't have that badly to make Tao run away in horror from you!' Kai exclaimed, jokingly -if all else has failed, Kai used jokes to cheer up Kris. And it works. Kris slipped out a grin, but said nothing.
'Plus, I'm making cookies, so cheer up, sado, or you get nothing!'
'Shut up, Kai...' Kris giggled, slipping his fingers into the cookie batter. Kai slapped his hand away.

Within the hour, they were both munching on warm biscuits and drinking hot chocolates. It was awfully cold weather outside, anyhow.

'So Kai... Looking for a new roommate, yet? Been a while since you last had one...'
Kai looked up, mouth full of cookie. This subject was difficult for him -only because of his small jealousy towards Kris. But he hid that fact well.
'Haven't been looking, to be honest. I really can't be bothered.'
'Well, you should. You look awefully lonely here, by yourself. It puts me off. As your best friend, I deeply care about you! Infact, I might have to find someone for you...'
'I- I can't Kris. And I can't tell you why. Just keep out of it...'
'Oh, okay Kai... How about these cookies, though!?'

That afternoon, Tao showed up.
Giving Kai a heart attack in the process.
'T-Tao?'
-Kai! I just-'
'Where have you been? I made COOKIES and you weren't even here for them! You're lucky there are still some left... Cookie monster behind me-'
Suddenly, Kai was shoved aside as Kris moved forwards to great the panda, and crush him in a hug.'Never mind your cookies Kai! Tao? Why didn't you leave a note? I worried...'

Tao sighed. He wrapped his arms around the taller man's shoulders, making Kai's heart pang with jealousy. Why can't we hug like that? I just don't get it...
All three boys headed inside of Kai's apartment, pulling their feet up on the couches and crunching whatever cookies Kris had not already scoffed. Then Kai set about making up a special chicken and rice dinner for them. The other two kept to the couch, holding hands...

While trying not to burn the rice, Kai studied the panda boy -when didn't he, after all? Tao was always so beautiful in Kai's eyes. All his features were just perfect -a nice shaped nose, cat-like mouth, dark shiny eyes. His thick, dark hair that was messy as usual, and hung just above his eyes. He smiled crookedly at Kris as he showed the boy yet another scratch on his hand. He just loved the neighbours' cat.
Kai sighed. He turned back to the rice.
Suddenly, he decided on something.
He would probably regret it.
But, he would have to do it at some point, right?

He was going to confess to Tao.
Whether Tao returned his feelings or not.

I kinda don't like it... -________-

I wrote this chapter to have a little KrisKai... Not much, though. Feels kinda shameful... :/

That's why I'll update maybe tomorrow or the next day! ^u^ And it will be a speshurr chappie, because KAITAO FEERLS!!! :D I know you guys love it ;)

Now, I was thinking... I should make some better updates, to make it more interesting!

-Add some more characters! This fic will get boring without them!!! And yes, I will introduce a speshurr someone, to make it more complicated ;)
-Add some more fluff and DRAMA-MAMA.
-I don't JUST wanna write about feelings all the time, so maybe add some more talking about their daily lives. Hanging out with other people and all...
-Possible . Now, this is complicated, because I can't write for the life of me -it kinda grosses me out a little. I could ask someone to write it for me, though... :/
