Description
Kim Myungsoo is a college student who works part-time at an antique shop. His life was peaceful and normal, he has friends, he's living a simple life, but normal has its limits.
A beautiful girl began haunting his mind every time, every tick of the clock, the image of her angelic face never left his mind. He doesn't know how, he doesn't know why, all he knows is that he can see himself slowly falling for this mysterious girl but what if one day he saw the girl, not in a market, not in a mall or anything in particular- but in one of the old paintings in the antique shop.
Will he let himself believe that it is just a coincidence or will he let himself face the reality and bite the forbidden fruit to know everything?
even if it means, seeing the ending wouldn't be a happily ever after..
Foreword
I looked at her, bewildered.
There she is, standing gracefully in front of me.
She looks so surreal, but I knew better.
All flesh and blood she may seem, but I know she’s nothing more than an apparition.
Cat got my tongue and I couldn’t bring myself to say even a single word.
Just standing there, gaping at her blinding beauty.
“Don’t be scared of me” she said. Her melodic voice rang through every corner of my ears.
“I mean no harm” she spoke again and gave me a reassuring smile but the sadness in her eyes was a contrast to it.
“C-Cossette..” I blurted out without even thinking rationally. Her smile immediately turned into a beautiful small grin.
“I’m glad you already know my name, Myungsoo” she said softly. I was surprised, not because I made her glad but for the fact that the girl with these enchanting aqua blue eyes knows my name.
“Myungsoo..” There she is again, saying my name in the most heavenly way I had ever heard, but before I could ask her how my name slipped in her mind, she opened once again.
“Help me..”
A/N: okay i know the foreword and i know my readers are probably going to kill me since i haven't finished any of my other stories, yet here i am starting a new one. sorry guys, i just really need to post this before i forgot the story. anyway.. this story was inspired from the manga 'Le Portrait de Petitte Cossette' and if you guys already read it then you know how it will be. oh and this story had been advertised by raιnвow adverтιѕeмenт ѕнop and HIPPOPOTAMUS ADVERTISEMENT SHOP and i would like to thank Red Thread Graphics for the amazing poster and background.
