What's another way to get beautiful skin? Eat the right foods! Here's some healthy tips to make your skin look fresh and clean.
Mentioned in previous chapters, lotion is the best and makes your skin smell nice as well. This diet is skin-friendly and much easier to do than to try to cover up those pimples and scars.
Water
You should drink lots of water throughout the day. Avoid soda and other sugary drinks. About 6 glasses a day should be able to keep your skin clear and bright. 6 glasses are equivalent to almost 2 water bottles.
Fruits and Vegetables
Fruits are naturally sugary so it's not as healthy as vegetables - but it's way better than cookies and chips. At least five portions of fresh fruits and veggies per day are great not only for your skin, but the rest of your body since it provides you with all the vitamins and minerals for the cells in order to get energy (omg, i'm getting so sciencey ;u;). The best foods to choose at the supermarket for your skin are:
- carrots (best for your eye sight!)
- broccoli
- appricots
- strawberries
- watercress
- oranges (orange juice in the morning is not bad, either...)
