First of all, what is an ulzzang? An ulzzang/uljjang means 'best face' in Korean. "jjiang" meaning best and "ul" describes face.

How to become an ulzzang
You take lots of pictures of yourself which is called selcas. Basically, you post the pictures online & if people like your face, you can get a fanclub which is how ulzzangs start. By having a fanclub, your chances of being discovered increase. For example, if you want to audition for an entertainment company, if they see that you already have a fanbase because of your face, your chances of getting in is high because they assume that you would be successful if people like your looks before you're a star. Just how exactly do you get some fans? Create a social media blog such as Tumblr, Twitter, or Blogspot so people can follow you. (Cyworld is the best choice since most Koreans use it.) Having something such as a blog gets you one step closer to becoming a real ulzzang. Nowadays, ulzzangs are worldwide so no matter what religion you practice or what ethnicity you are, you can still be an ulzzang by having fans.
