“Sweetie~” Mrs.Park knocked Mira’s door. “Are you ready?” asked her. Mira opened her door.  “Oh! Just a minute and I’ll be downstairs!” said Mira. She closed the door and started to get dress. Tonight her father’s friends are having a masquerade party. She doesn’t want to go but her mom forced her. She wears a white cream knee dress. A little bit of makeup but not too thick and a necklace were dangling around her neck. After combing her hair, she took her purse and and her silver mask.

She ran downstairs. “Okay! Im ready! Let’s go!” said Mira to her parents. Their butler opened the door for them. “Maybe we’ll be home a bit late… so don’t lock the door okay?” said Mrs.Park “I understand Mrs.Park.. Be there safely~” said the butler. “Goodbye Mr.Shim!” waved Mira to him. The butler smiled at her and waved her back.

While in their car, Mira asked her mom. “Mom, you said we’ll be home late? Why?” asked Mira curiously “I have an assignment to do... my lecturer just gave me today…” said Mira. “Yes princess… we’ll be home a bit late… I have something to discuss with my friends…” answered Mr.Park, her father.  “But, can I go home earlier than you?” asked Mira. She looked at her parents.

Both of them shook their head. “Why you want to go home so early? You should enjoyed the masquerade party~” said Mr.Park. “Its masquerade… I can’t see the guest faces... their face are covered by mask… so, how can I enjoy if I can’t see or know their face? Maybe I’ll be dancing to a stranger~” said Mira “that’s why it’s called a masquerade… people are wearing a mask….” Said Mr.Park

“But, how come mom and dad are not wearing a mask?” asked Mira. “Sweetie… we’re going to have a tea in the mansion! Where else, all the youngsters are in the lawn…enjoying, dancing and so on~” said Mrs.Park. Mira sighed. *this is going to be a long night with people that I don’t know…*
