These are my memories of writing this fic.

This is associated with my first competition piece in aff and I had decided to base it on a character which I realised I was really, really, really bad at characterising. Minho.

I had wrote a blog post apologising to dearest Minho.

Dear Minho, I am sorry.

I am sorry because I don't know who you are, or what kind of personalities you have to write you as a character. Out of all the other SHINee members, you are just there. Just standing there, in the background. How can I make you 3D in my stories? :(

... what happens if I have you as a main character in all my next stories? Oh no! That would be too hard for me. :S

And so I did what I thought would be too hard for me.

Did I succeed? I don’t know. lol

‘Isn’t that enough’ was the actual contest piece. I had it for a friendship theme because I was too apprehensive to write romance (it is not my best genre to write). But my original story plan had three parts: primary school, high school, university; Minho, Key, MinKey. I had at first given up the university/MinKey part in my one-shot entry because it didn’t mesh well with the friendship theme.

But the story still haunted me.

And so I did something about it. I wrote it.

And as I was updating, the comments were scared that taekey would happen ... and I was like, what? What was wrong with taekey? And frantically put in an author’s note that this was definitely a minkey fic ;a;

At that time, 1000 Years was released and Kimi ga iru sekai definitely caught my attention. At the same time I was sniffing around my brother’s music and came across The Script, Six Degrees of Separation. The two became my soundtrack to this fic.

And another trivia, I spent my Christmas day writing it. Ho! Ho! Ho! It was my Christmas gift to myself and everyone else. ^^

Finally, I was confused and surprised that this story had gotten a lot of views and even subscribers than my other major stories, and even after this story was completed ages ago.  Like how are people finding it?! Umm... thank you? ^^
