Kris watches as the nurse made her way to his bed while carrying a silver tray. She did a check-up, made him take a pill and other things before finally leaving.

Kris was sent to the hospital after collapsing in the middle of gym class. And earlier, he heard the doctor and his parents talking about how stressed he must be, but he should take a little rest.

It's true that Kris had been stressed lately. He's been worrying about a rumor that has spread in the school about a boy who committed suicide by jumping from a building. He did not lose his life, but he was seriously injured and had been in a coma for almost a week now. Kris knew the guy very well and even recieved hints about his suicide attempt, but Kris was too oblivious to notice. Things would have turned out differently if Kris just paid more attention and instead of being the clueless guy that he is, they would have been on a date by now...

When there was no footsteps heard outside the room, Kris finally thought that it was a good time to sneak out. He got out of bed and headed for the door. He looked from left to right, making sure that the coast is clear. Good thing that it was nighttime. There was less people who visits and there was a high possibility that the guy's parents are not going to be there. Not that they're going to visit anyway, since they were one who pushed him to his limits.

Kris doesn't even know where to start looking. He only knew that he was somewhere in the same hospital as he was in.

"Hurry! Hurry!"

Kris hid behind the nearest corner when he heard noises and soon, approaching footsteps.

"Someone call his guardian! He's finally waking up!"

Kris's eyes widened when he heard that last sentence, then he peeked from his hiding spot. He asked himself questions like, "Could it be him?" or "What should I do when I see him?" Thinking about those things made him panic and pace back and forth.

Meanwhile, in the hospital room, the doctors and nurses were busy making sure that the boy was fine. They asked him questions like how he is feeling and if he remembers anything. The boy just nods, but doesn't talk. It seemed like he lost his voice, but it was only temporary.

"We've called you're parents. They should be here soon." His doctor calmly said while giving him an injection, making him cringe in pain. "Relax. By the way, there's a creepy guy that's been pacing back and forth outside your room. Do you know him?" The doctor nodded towards the door and soon enough a guy appeared outside, then disappeared, then appeared again. He stopped to take a glance at the room and continued pacing. But he immediately froze when the information about what he just saw processed in his brain.

"K-kris?" the guy said with a hoarse and dry voice.

"Tao!" Kris saw the figure on the bed looking at him. He ran towards the room, but a nurse stopped him before he could go inside.

"I'm sorry, but you can't go inside," the nurse said while lightly pushing him out. Kris tried to at least get a better view of Tao and he regretted that he did. Tao had very emotionless eyes that seemed to say, "Kris, what happened? Why am I still alive? Don't leave." He almost looked like he was about to cry. But before Kris could do anything, the door was slammed on his face.

Kris was left there, not knowing what to do again. He walked to one of the chairs attached to the walls and took a seat. Sitting didn't help him calm down at all.   

He wanted to just kick the door down and burst in. But what would he say when he's finally in there. "I'm sorry Tao, for not understanding you better?" or "I should have paid more attention to you?" or even better, "Forgive me." is he even worth it? Is he even worth Tao's time? All this was just giving Kris more headache and it seemed to grow even more by the second. The next thing he knew he felt the cold floor against his face and darkness consuming him.

"-ris? Kris? Kris!? It's no use. He's completely passed out."

"Move aside. Hey! HEY KRIS!"

"Let me try! Kris, Tao's here."

Kris shot up immediately and quickly scanned the area.

"You liar! Ugh." Kris said after looking around and not seeing Tao. Then he groaned when a sudden pain shot up his head making him hold it as if it was going to explode. 

"You should lie back down." And he felt hands gently pushing him back down to his bed. He looked to see that it was Suho. Then he noticed that Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Kai, and Sehun was also there.

"Why are you guys here?" Kris asked, not caring how the question sounded. He knows that Suho will definetly come, but he didn't expect the others to visit also.  

"We obviously came to check how you were doing," Sehun answered while unwrapping a Hershey's Kisses and popping it in his mouth then he looked at a certain guy looking out at the window, "Kai was especially worried about you."  

Kai heard someone mention his name and immediately turned around to look at Sehun then at Kris. "N-no I wasn't! I was just- Suho hyung dragged me here! Yeah that's it." Kai walked over to the gang surrounding Kris' bed with a reddening cheek. He looked at Sehun to give him a glare then at his hands, which was unwrapping yet another chocolate. His blushing face was quickly replaced by a devious smirk as he quickly grabbed the chocolate from Sehun's hands.

"Hey, that's mine!" Sehun yelled at Kai and chased him around the room.

"You guys better settle down before someone gets hurt.'' Suho tried to warn the kids, but it looks like they were not listening to him. "Why can't I handle these kids?" Suho gave up instead and rolled his eyes after watching Kai dodge Sehun's hands and almost fell down. 

"Kai, you better buy me another package! You ate the last one." Sehun suddenly stopped running after Kai.

"What?! No way! Here, I'll give back to you. Candy kiss baby~" Kai said as closed his eyes and pursed his lips at him.

But instead of a slap across the cheek or a punch, Kai was caught off guard when he felt a pair of soft lips crash against his own. His eyes suddenly flew open and was immediately greeted by two big and familiar doe eyes. 

"Kyungsoo!" Kai exclaimed after pulling away.

~Flashback~

Kyungsoo looked at the basket he was holding and smiled. The guy was almost skipping while wandering the halls of the hospitals, looking for Tao's room.

Upon recieving the news that his precious baby Tao had finally woken up, he immediately made a gift, which in this case, is food. He thought that since Tao had just woken up, he would be hungry. So he bought the ingredients to make his specialty, kimchi spaghetti. Kyungsoo knew that Tao loves his kimchi spaghetti, well, not just that, but he loves all of his homemade food. Tao may look like a dark and mysterious guy, but he really is just a cute, adorable panda and the total opposite of how people see him, especially how he is when deliciously eating Kyungsoo's cooking.

Kyungsoo was rounding the corner when he sees a guy collapse on the floor. Kyungsoo panicked as he immediately ran over to the blonde guy and kneeled next to him. He craddled him in his arms and gently shook the lifeless body, but recieve no response. He shook the guy again, with a litle force this time. Kyungsoo watched as the guy's head rolled back, revealing his undeniably familiar face.   

"Kris? Oh My God!" Kyungsoo was shocked as he examined Kris' face over and over again. Then he remembered what just happened. "Someone! HELP!" Kyungsoo screamed at the top of his lungs and after a few minutes of continuous calling, a group of nurse ran up to them.

"What happened?" One of the nurse asked.

"I don't know. I just saw him collapse." Kyungsoo answered as he nerviously watched as Kris was carried off and taken away.

"We've been looking for him since earlier. He sneaked out of his room." The nurse said as she turned to look at Kyungsoo.

"What?! Kris was a patient?" Kyungsoo said as his eyes widened.

"Yeah. If you want, come check over him later. I need to go." The nurse impatiently said.

"Uh...Sure." Kyungsoo said and gave a slight bow. The nurse then said goodbye and ran to catch up to with others and disappeared.

Kyungsoo was left speechless and dazed. But a sudden noise made him snap back. He turned around and saw a doctor pick up the basket that Kyungsoo forgot that he had.

"Is this yours?" The doctor said as he gently walked towards Kyungsoo.

"Yes, Thank you." Kyungsoo bowed as the doctor handed him the basket.  

"You're welcome. Are you here to visit Zitao?" The doctor asked, taking Kyungsoo by surprise.

"Y-yes, how did you know?" Kyungsoo suspiciously asked. The doctor notice the change of tone in his voice and couldn't help but smile.

"He told me. Anyways, you should get going, he's waiting for you." The doctor said. Kyungsoo gave a shy smile and bowed.  The doctor returned the smile and left the scene.

Kyungsoo made his way to the room that the doctor just came out of and opened the door. He was greeted by a black haired boy who was sitting up on the bed. He turned around and immediately showed a smile that could only belong to the one and only, Tao.

"I made you something special." Kyungsoo walked to the bed and placed the basket he was carrying in front of Tao.

"No way," Tao said as he impatiently started opening the basket and gasped when he pulled out a container, "You made it for me? I've been dying to eat this ever since I woke up." Tao said then he popped open the container and breathed in the delicious scent of the food.

"Tao?" Kyungsoo's voice suddenly dropped, sending shivers down the younger's back. He knew where this was going, whenever Kyungsoo's voice changes it means that he has something serious to say. "Why, Tao?" That simple sentence caused a huge effect on the younger and an eerie silence took over the room.  

Kyungsoo unknowingly had tears falling from his eyes. He could tell that Tao had also started bawling like a child. Kyungsoo reached out to wipe away the tears on Tao's cheeks, just like how he wanted to wipe away the younger's pain and suffering that he felt over the years. But just like the tears that seemed to endlessly roll down from the younger's cheeks, he can't just easily wipe those away.  

Tao leaned in to the other's warm touches and soon found himself clinging onto him. The older one immediately returned the hug and started crying even more. Kyungsoo knew that he shouldn't be cyring, he shoud be trying to remain strong for Tao, but he just couldn't stop.

Kyungsoo, eventually stopped crying after what seemed like an hour. He looked down to see Tao already sound asleep, then a smile creeped on the older's lips. Kyungsoo slowly pulled Zitao away from him and layed him down on the bed. Then, he tucked him under the covers and wiped the remaining tears from his cheeks. He looked at Tao's adorable sleeping face and wondered how this gentle and sweet, young boy could ever think of ending his life. But then again, that's what he used to think of doing before he met Tao and Lay, his only friends and definitely, his best friends.

Kyungsoo took one last look at Tao before walking to the door and opening it. Then, he quietly closed the door behind him, being careful not to wake the sleeping figure on the bed. He breathe out a long sigh and looked around. Suddenly, an idea came to his mind.

'I wonder where Kris' room is at.' Kyungsoo thought in his head as he looked for any signs that would give him a clue as to where Kris' room might be at. He decided to give up and just ask the receptionist desk instead. So, he headed to the front lobby and asked the receptionist at the desk for Kris' room number. He told the nurse that he was a friend and that he wanted to check on him.

After recieving the room number, Kyungsoo carefully walked around the place and quickly located it. He slowly walked to the room and was surprised to find it open and heard voices inside. He hesitantly took a peek and was startled when he made eye contact with Sehun.

Sehun harshly grabbed Kyungsoo and pulled him inside. He stumbled when Sehun let go and he unexpectedly made contact with a warm and sweet lips. Was today Kyungsoo's bad day or very lucky day?

~End of flashback~

"Kyungsoo!" It took Kai by surprise when he felt lips pressed against his own, but even more when he opened his eyes and saw that it belonged to Kyungsoo.

Both must admit that the kiss was sweet, literally. They both felt like the room was suddenly hot and their faces were dangeriously red.

"Jongin, did you enjoy it?" Chanyeol suddenly interrupted and had an evil smirk just like Sehun. Suho and Baekhyun were just patiently waiting for what would happen next.   

Kai would have immediately retorted back, if he wasn't too embarrassed to even look up. Kyungsoo's eyes were still opened wide and he was frozen in place.

Kris was the one who finally brought the two back on earth.

"Kyungsoo, how is Tao?" Kris asked, not giving any care to what just happened between him and Kai. The only thing Kris cared about at the moment, was if Tao was alright. He knew Kyungsoo and Tao were best friends and would have information about him.

Kyungsoo's head immediately turned to Kris and was about to answer him when someone suddenly burst in the room.

"Tao!" Xiumin yelled, which almost made everyone in the room have a heart attack. "Oh, I thought this was my friend's room, sorry. Lay, you said this was Tao's room!" Xiumin said to the guy next to him, who appeared out of nowhere.

"Really? I remembered the nurse said to turn left and it was the the first room on the right." Lay said scratching his head in confusion.

"No, she said it was the first room on the LEFT. Remind me why I let you lead the way again?" Xiumin was now frustrated. They had been looking for Tao's room for almost an hour now and they even managed to go in the wrong one.

"Because- Oh, hey Suho!" Lay cheerfully wave to Suho causing the other to blush. The other people on the room immediately had their eyes on Suho and noticed the blush that tainted his cheeks.

"What is this~? Baekhyun teased Suho.

Kris was the one who snapped everyone back to normal, again.

"Who the hell are you people?" Kris said annoyed that his room was suddenly crowded, he looked at Chen and Luhan who magically appeared next to Xiumin at the door.

"Xiumin, why did you leave us behind?" Chen pouted at Xiumin. Xiumin couldn't help but to smile at the other's adorableness.

Earlier, Chen and Luhan just finished volunteering at the hospital when they bumped to Xiumin and Lay, who were looking around for Tao's room.

Just then, another person appeared at the door. Kris was about to shout at the person, but when he saw who it was, his eyes widened in shock.

"Tao!" Everyone said in unison.

Everyone is finally introduced in this story! Hehe I honestly didn't expect to finish this chapter the day before Valentines. lol Exo was just flirtin on Idol Olympic like seriously so many Hunhan! but no Kaisoo but Baekyeol was so cute having lovers quarrel >.< and Tao and Suho... ... lol jk! I love them!
