The Lost Soulmate
Mr. Wu frowned at the sight. His one and only son, Wu Yifan, often caught daydreaming either on the house or the office. Yifan will look at a space without speak, without emotions, for minutes. Just like today. When Mr. Wu come to his son's office to have a brunch together, he found him leaned back on the balcony, looking at his feet without doing anything particular.
"What's in your mind, son...?" Mr. Wu said. Breaking Yifan's train of thought. He snapped from his daydream. "Oh, Papa..." Yifan smiled a little "nothing" he said
Kris didn't lie. He really didn't preoccupied to think about something since he remembers nothing. Yet there's always this yearning, this longing feeling in his heart. It sometimes torture his chest, -like someone just shot him right on his chest- when he tried too hard to remember. He want, but he just can't.
"You know... You use to talk everything with me ever since your mother's death. I mean it, everything. Even when you have problems with girls. We two were much like best friends than any other Dad-Son pairs in the world" Mr. Wu chuckled
Yifan's eyes grew sparked. He really needed someone's help. He need Yixing but he currently live far from the country. He hope his Dad can help him through this. This pain he suffer for himself, especially when the rain comes. Not much physically, more mentally.
"I... Ever since I woke up, I felt wrong..."
Mr. Wu furrowed his eyebrow, carefully listening to his son's trouble.
"Can I ask you something?" Yifan looked up. Mr. Wu just nodded, signaling him to go on. "Am I really your son...?"
