Chapter 2: Your Dad POV

I looked at her from the window. She sat down on the steps.

I knew she didn’t like it me, but I was still glad she was here.

I walked outside and sat beside her.

She glared at me.

“Hi Sweetie.” I said quietly.

“Hi… I think I’m going to go to the Carnival.” she said.

“Oh, okay. Be careful.”

She stood up and started walking down the block towards the carnival.

I watched her till I couldn’t see her anymore. I felt like a really bad dad.

Tomorrow my son is coming. I don’t know if he’s even going to talk to me at all.

I think I hurt him the most. I left him without saying good-bye or anything.

I walked back inside the house and played the piano which made me feel the most happy when I feel down.
