Most would wonder what Sebastian Michaelis – If that was even his real name to begin with – had to deal with growing up as a child.

Did he go to ‘Demon Butler School’, or did all spawns of hell know how to pour a fantastic cup of Earl Grey from the instant of being brought into existence? And what about his ability to kill a fan-girl...From the mere distance of two hundred yards away...With mind bullets. Did he attend special cutlery-throwing classes?

All of that is nonsense.

Sebastian secretly prides himself in the fact he was born a normal child, with a normal family and normal childhood – Bar that one time where he managed to kick a full-grown man through a wall when he was nine.

But even little incidents like that came to be known as normal at some point or another.

He wouldn’t tell anybody about his fond childhood memories. Maybe he’d even go as far as bending the truth ever so slightly, as to say that he’d always been one Hell of a butler.
