    Shingyouji couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by this situation. He’s currently peeking from behind the wall from the hallway that leads to the lounge room of the school. There he was, standing so tensely, and so hurtfully still as he watch Misu laughed so happily and loudly with someone he’s not so familiar with. Here he was; holding back his wet eyes from running down his cheeks.

      ‘What is wrong with you Shingyouji?’

    He can’t help but feel that way. That happiness that was once in his mind and heart disappear just like that. With just the tick of the laughter, his happiness died. Misu’s laughter. What can he do so that Misu could smile, sincerely smile, for a fortunate of a big one? What can he do? Be a clown? Be someone else like the stranger he’s talking to? Or just disappear from Misu’s life? Misu would want that to happen, right?

    Right?

    “Shingyouji-kun,” someone called him quietly. Shingyouji looked to the person and saw Takumi smiling at him. How nice of Takumi to not call him out loud as it would lead to Misu having his attention to him and Misu would call him a stalker that stalks from behind the wall every time Misu is not around. It felt weird knowing that someone cares for such a little thing. Shingyouji smiled weakly and nodded. Takumi sighed heavily. “Mind going to my room with me?”

    Shingyouji nodded and Takumi then leads the way to the dorm room. Shingyouji had always gone to their room. Takumi and Misu’s room to be exact. When Misu is not around that is. Shingyouji would lie down on Misu’s bed and just smell the scent Misu leaves behind. Shingyouji would always roamed through Misu’s book on the desk and read it, even though the subject of the books as hell. He doesn’t care. As long as it’s Misu’s.

   Arriving to the dorm room, Takumi sat down on his bed and Shingyouji just stood there; frozen. “Shingyouji-kun?” Takumi called out to him. Shingyouji’s expressions went blank. It all went blank. Everything went blank. Misu’s side desk which was only filled by a bed lamp and a book was now accompanied by a picture frame of Misu and a girl; kissing. On the lips.

    “Oh my, I’m so sorry Shingyouji-kun,” Takumi feels flustered when he actually took notice of the picture. Takumi quickly stood up and went to hug him. “I didn’t know that was there. I shouldn’t have brought you here with me if I have known.” Shingyouji’s tears fell down on that day. Shingyouji couldn’t help but feel like he’s been crying all day long. Not to his conscious but his feeling tells him all. His feelings.

    “And what would that bring to me Hayama-san? The undeniable truth that would be exposed one day? The truth that would hit me one day like a storm? I’d rather know myself rather than anyone else, especially him. I’m glad,” Shingyouji trailed his words out. “I’m glad that I found out some truth before he tells me.” Takumi couldn’t help but feel sad. Those voices. He doesn’t know those voices anymore. He doesn’t.

    “But I’m sure there’s a reason behind all of that. I believe in Arata-san. I love him. I do. And always will. Until the day my eyes close from this world forever, I’ll be loving him until death do us part.” Takumi couldn’t help again but feel concerned now. What would happen then if one day Misu would be gone? Misu would slip away from Shingyouji’s fingertips. Shingyouji’s hand were never been hold by Misu, it was always the fingertips. And at one time, Misu would be gone and one time, Misu managed to find his way back. But Takumi is afraid that one day again, Misu would leave and this time, forever.

    Without any goodbye.

    Without mending Shingyouji’s feelings.

   “I’m sure there’s a reason to that too.” Takumi lets go and forced a smile. A smiled that can deceived anyone and even Shingyouji. Because right now, Shingyouji doesn’t need any of that truth.

     Any of them.

    Not any of them would Shingyouji have to know. And Takumi is determined to know the truth from Misu. A while later.

   “That’s none of your business Hayama,” Misu stated coldly and went away. So squeezing out the truth from Misu is pointless then. It would always be pointless if Shingyouji’s name isn’t mentioned. But Takumi doesn’t want Misu to know that Shingyouji had already known about the picture. Takumi went and sat down on one of the sofa on the dorm lounge as he sighed.

    “Hayama Takumi?” Takumi looked up and saw the person everyone has been talking about for hours upon his arrival. “Chiaki-senpai?” Chiaki smiled and nodded. He went and sat down beside Takumi on the couch.

   “I’m glad you know me. I don’t have to do any introduction then, I suppose?” Takumi just nodded and smiled. “Great.” Chiaki exclaimed excitedly and he crossed his arm in front of his chest. “So, I heard you talking about the picture on Misu’s bed side table. The girl with him that was kissing him.” And now Takumi seemed intense. How did this guy even know? Oh. Eavesdropping. That explains it all.  

    “I have all the answer with me if you want to know so badly since Misu is not going to spill out the beans at any time.” Takumi stared at him intensely. Should he or should he not? But it’s for Shingyouji’s sake. He wants to know the truth and held it captive with him and this Chiaki guy and Misu. Takumi slowly nodded. Chiaki smiled of satisfaction.

    “The girl kissing him is Watanabe Izuki. His fiancé. His beloved fiancé who had just gone back from London to Japan after her finishing studies. Their wedding is set 3 months from now. The reason I’m here is to let the school know of this 1 month before the wedding since it’ll be held here. Misu wanted that. ”

      Without any of the two knowing, Shingyouji had been listening intensely to their conversation from the beginning.
