Hyukjae blinked, surprised by the odd request of his friend. He loved the younger male with all his heart, but he didn’t think they would be able to even fit a large creature in the dorm. Couldn’t he just want a fish like every other year?

Cleary his mother had thought the same thing, though, this refusal was making Donghae more upset than usual, and that was making Hyukjae upset. Though, he was used to having to keep Donghae happy, he doubted he could even afford let alone get such a big mammal; where they even mammals?

Hyukjae shook his head, no. he refused to get involved in this little debacle. If Hae really wanted a hippo hero, he would gladly go to the toy store and buy said animal. But he refused to buy the real deal. That was way over his budget and he loved his dog very much, hippo’s ate dogs in his mind.

Donghae smiled when Hyukjae finally told him he would talk with Santa about the animal sending the now hyper boy off to complete his schedules while he made a mental not to visit every toy store for a hippo.
