A door was heard being opened then slammed shut. More doors followed behind letting the dorm sound nosy of closing and opening doors. Donghae was busy waiting for his toast as the noises were bothering his morning. He winced every time it would slam shut again and again.

“Aish,” Kangin came out from the bathroom with an annoyed expression. “What is that guy doing?”

Donghae just rolled his eyes. “Just Yesung hyung being weird again.” Kangin just shook his head and heard the toaster go off. With a smile on his face, he took his dongsaeng’s toast. Donghae wanted to complain but he didn’t want to face his hyung’s wrath.

Running footsteps were heard down the dorm’s hallway and a messy blonde male skidded across the kitchen tiles looking at two of the Super Junior members. “Yah! Have you seen Kyuhyun?”

“Nope,” Kangin chewed on Donghae’s toast while the other just glared at him from behind. Yesung scratched the back of his neck frustrated.

“You lost your boyfriend?” Sungmin peeked out from the couch with his cheeks puffed out. His platinum blonde hair looked perfect even though he was sleeping on the couch last night. The members don’t know why but Sungmin wanted to see what it felt like to sleep on the couch.

Yesung jumped over the couch and tackled Sungmin. He was pinning the aegyo king on the cushions with a frantic look on his face. “Where. Is. Kyuhyun?”

“Why do you want to know, hyung?!”

“He promised me he would buy me some turtle food!”

“Well I don’t know where he went now please get off of me?”

Yesung wanted to yell again but he saw the bunny man started to pout his lips. He even started to bat his eyelashes using his amazing aegyo skills. The older male couldn’t help but get off and start pinching his cheeks. Yesung wondered how a man could be so adorable.

Knowing that he wouldn’t get anywhere questioning his Super Junior members, Yesung grabbed his oversized coat, thick sunglasses, and headed out the door searching for his troublesome lover. That boy promised he’ll make it up to me. Where is he?

Trying not to look suspicious, this was hard since he was wearing a huge coat in the middle of summer. He got some weird looks from many people and two schoolgirls were whispering about how he looked liked Sungmin of Super Junior. Sungmin? Really? Is it because of the hair?  Yesung grumbled a bit.

The blonde singer started to think about his relationship with Kyuhyun. It’s kind of weird since he was way older than the maknae. Did that stop him though? No. Yesung smiled unconsciously remembering how it all happened.

It wasn’t really romantic or even sweet. Actually, it wasn’t like something from drama or some crazy fanfiction. Kyuhyun just came into Yesung’s room and said a simple ‘I like you a lot hyung’ then left to play his Starcraft. Yesung thought it was a joke so didn’t care much for it.

Again that same day, Kyuhyun came into the room and kissed the singer on the cheek. He said something along the lines of “I love you, wanna be my boyfriend?” Yeah, it was an odd confession but in truth, Yesung didn’t care as long as he had Kyuhyun. Yesung still found Kyuhyun’s confession oddly cute.

“Wouldn’t your boyfriend get mad at you?”

“Nah, I don’t really care,” a familiar voice spoke to the female. Yesung perked up hearing that recognizable male voice. It was someone he knows but he can’t place a finger on it…

“Don’t you love Yesung-sshi?” Yesung froze hearing his voice coming out from the female’s mouth.

A small pause was filling the atmosphere until Kyuhyun spoke again, “Just get inside and don’t worry about it.”

Yesung couldn’t help but look at where the voices were located. He had to go on his toes to search above people’s heads. Just in time, the singer had spotted Kyuhyun’s noticeable smirk with his hand resting on some female’s middle back. He tried to see the woman’s face but the passing people were blocking his view. The two walked into the hotel.

“What is he doing?” Yesung mumbled under his breath as he was gently pushing people aside. Even though he was rushing though the crowd, he did it in the most mild and kind way. Well, as kind as anyone could be when trying to get to their boyfriend.

Breathless, Yesung reached the doors of the hotel still with his heavy coat and tinted sunglasses intact. The blonde rushed into the hotel but was soon greeted with a bunch of people dressed in crazy feathers, colorful wigs, and crazy outfits. Strangely, he spotted two guys in handcuffs walking across the lobby. The hell…?

Yesung didn’t have time to think about what was going on because he had spotted his boyfriend going up the stairs with the female. He started to push through the crowd ignoring the bright costumes and homemade weapons.

The singer was about to get up the stairs until someone had bumped into him. Yesung lost his footing and fell onto the lobby carpet. His sunglasses had fallen off but lucky for him, no one noticed. He quickly got his sunglasses and got up from the floor. Yesung was too late though.

Kyuhyun and the mysterious female were gone.

The tired Yesung came back to the dorm after leaving the hotel. He ignored s and headed straight to his room and dialed a familiar number onto the screen. He put the phone up to his ear hearing the ringing from the other side.

“Yobosaeyo?”

“Kyu, where are you? I thought we were going to get my turtles some food,” Yesung lied perfectly keeping his voice calm and smooth. He was just glad that Kyuhyun didn’t see him though because he was in a panic wreck. He was shaking his leg up and down. His heartbeat came more rapidly and Yesung was silently praying that Kyuhyun wouldn’t lie.

“I’m at a recording studio.” Yesung felt his heart sink. “I’ll be over there soon, just let me finish, ne Jongwoon? I love you.”

“I love you too…” the blonde singer didn’t hang up just yet. He heard Kyuhyun’s voice whisper some words that contained words like ‘he doesn’t know’ and ‘I don’t give a damn.’ Yesung then heard Kyu’s phone click ending the conversation.

Kyuhyun came home around 10:27 PM feeling drained and stressed. He took off his shoes quickly and was making his way to the living room until he saw Yesung sitting on the floor with one of his pet turtles. Kyu noticed that the singer looked depressed and he couldn’t help but feel guilty.

“Jongwoon,” Kyuhyun was the only dongsaeng who was allowed to talk informally to Yesung. “I’m so sorry that I couldn’t go but I was busy with the recording and-”

“You’re such a liar,” the male on the ground lifted his turtle close to him hugging the reptile close. The blonde avoided the maknae’s gaze.

Kyuhyun widen his eyes, “What?”

“We’ve been together for two months and you tell me you love me. I believed you. I’ve been in love with you. I’ve trusted you. And you lied to me.”

“Jongwoon, I-”

“Hyung, you’re supposed to call me hyung. Show respect for once will you?” Yesung looked up from his turtle to the brown eyes of Kyuhyun with a heartbroken expression.

“Let me explain…”

“I let you lock me outside and I let you take my spotlight. Is this another of your ‘test’ that you will perform on me? In that letter you gave me, you wanted to see how much I’ll handle you. Well I did pretty well, didn’t I? But this, this is going way to far Kyuhyun.”

“Jongwoon, this isn’t part of the test. You see it’s just-”

“It’s over Kyuhyun,” Yesung spoke with a sharp tone. His clear face had a cold look as he looked over his lover, well ex-lover now. Slowly the blonde got up from the ground with his turtle and headed to his shared room with Ryeowook.

It’s over Kyuhyun. It’s over Kyuhyun. It’s over Kyuhyun. Those words echoed throughout the brown haired male’s head causing his head to hurt. He couldn’t move. He just froze in the dorm living room feeling his chest ache.
