TOP couldn’t go outside now, not with the buzz of him in that area still going around. The last thing he wanted to do was be mobbed. But he also didn’t want to go back into the studio to face Martina again. He was heartbroken at what had just happened. It wasn’t that she rejected him, but it was how she did it. She was angry and hateful and now she probably went from admiring and idolizing him to hating his guts.

He should have known she would act like this. She was so in love with Simon. It has always showed in their videos. He should have known better than to confess. He hated himself and he regretted doing it. He prayed that she would still remain his fan at least.

He dialed his driver and told him that he had been recognized and is that he needed to be picked up, and after telling him the address TOP sat down on the staircase next to the studio and rubbed his forehead as he waited for his driver.

He waited for twenty minutes before hearing Martina come down the stairs as well. He wanted to run away so that he wouldn’t have to face her, but he had no where to go. She came down and saw him there sitting with his back towards her.

She froze in place. “What are you still doing here?”

“Waiting for my driver,” TOP answered without turning. He didn’t want her to see his face and how heartbroken he was.

“Wait for him outside,” she said.

“I can’t, I’ll be recognized,” TOP reminded her.

Martina sighed as she set herself on a stair close to him. “Are you thirsty?” she asked

“No.”

“Cold?”

“No.”

“You can come back inside if you like. It is pretty chilly out here.”

“No thank you.”

“I want you to come back inside,” she insisted as she stood from the stair and held his arm.

“No thank you,” he said, as he softly tugged his arm away, “I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. But thank you for your hospitality.”

“Just come on!” she exclaimed as she gripped his arm tighter. He really did not want to be in the same room as her anymore; it was too much strain on his heart to see her anymore. As she pulled him up asking him to follow her back inside, he jerked his arm back to get it out of her tight hold.

As a result of this jerking, Martina tripped on the stair she was on and stumbled as she fell downward. TOP reacted quickly by holding his arm out in an attempt catch her before she falls but it had been too late. She fell straight down the stairs, at first on her stomach, but the stairs had given her the extra momentum to roll down until she reached the end of the staircase.

He rushed to her aid. He saw that her nose was bleeding and her arms, legs and face were bruised badly; most importantly, her right shoulder was terribly dislocated. He quickly carried her and descended the rest of the flight of stairs into the streets, not caring that people had recognized him, not caring that people had started to take pictures, not caring that this would lead to a huge scandal.

All he cared about at this point was getting Martina to the nearest hospital as soon as possible.
