Letter Sounds
Learn Korean ^.^The picture above is pretty accurate in explaining the sounds of the Hangul letters.
The first letter (and others letters like it) has two "sounds" underneath it. K and G.
This means that the sound is said somewhere in between the two sounds.
That's why you sometimes get SungGyu or SungKyu (and same with KiKwang I think).
