First listen to 사랑(from City Hunter OST) by Im Jae Bum.

Most KPoppers know what 사랑 (sarang) means. It means love. 

Well duh! Okay why am I comparing it to 사람 (salam meaningperson)? Because of the way the word looks in hangul.  The only way to tell between the two words is the very bottem portion of the second characters. In other words, one has a circle (love), an the other has a square (person).

So the lyrics example is: 그 사랑 때문에 (Guh sa-rang thay-mun-ai), 그 사람 때문에 (Guh sa-lam thay-mun-ai)~~~ 그 (that) 사랑 (love) 때문 (a word that blames someone/something) 에 (because), 그 사람 (person) 때문에~~~ (I didn't bother translating the second line because you shoul know that its the same as the first line except for one word) 

The whole line translates to: Because of that love, Because of that person. 

And there is only one alphabet that changes in the whole sentence. 

The main reason that I put 사람 vs. 사랑 is because of the very simliar spellings. 

Not to mention that I got confused when I first heard this song. Don't judge. I was young back then. 

NOTE: Romanizations are the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Well... I guess if you learn the pronunciation rules... but I can't put that up until i get Korean... Note that sa-lam is also romanized to sa-ram. But I used sa-lam to make it less confusing. Same goes with most of the others words.
