During the dinner, jieun kept on glancing on jungshin. He didn’t bother to look at her before and during the dinner. “ji

eun-ssi, I heard that you’re engage, who is the lucky fella?” minhyuk asked. Dahae was the one who answered him.

“it’s Dr. Kim Junsu, the young neuro-surgeon. I heard his father owns the hospital right jieun ssi?” jieun nod and

smiled. “ohhh, wow so you two really are compatible..ow!” jungshin kicked minhyuk’s foot. “minhyuk dear, what

happened?” mrs. Lee asked. “ah, nothing mrs. Lee, I just bit my tongue” minhyuk lied. Jungshin rolled his eyes. “mom,

excuse us, I have to talk to minhyuk about the papers we need tomorrow” jungshin said. minhyuk hesitantly stood up.

He is still wants dessert. Jieun carefully look up to them. “jieun ah, let me see that ring again?” dahae asked. Jieun

shyly put her hand over hers. “it’s simple yet elegant. I remember when my husband proposed to me” dahae said

dreamily. Jieun smiled. But inside her she felt awkward, there she is accepting a dinner invitation given by her ex’s

parents. And to make it worse, they are all in her side. She bit her lips. “what is it honey? You don’t like the food?”

mrs. Lee asked she realized that the remaining lee’s are looking at her intently. “ah, ani, I think I need some air, can I

walk around the lawn? I miss going there” dahae smiled. “of course you can, I guess you wanted to be alone right?”

jieun nod.

“seriously dude you are not helping!” jungshin snarl on minhyuk making the poor guy winched. “bwo? You two really

are compatible?” jungshin was angry, seriously angry when he heard minhyuk say that. “sorry, just caught up in the

moment” minhyuk tried to reason. “you..” jungshin pointed at him. “hey, the plan is to ignore her right? You did a

great job, I saw her looking at you earlier” minhyuk said. jungshin smiled a little. He did saw her look at him too,

probably confused of the sudden change in him. But he still cant believe that he agreed on this stupid plan. “hey guys,

up for some coffee?” dahae peek on the door. Jungshin looked at minhyuk then he cleared his throat. “is, uhm, is jieun

already gone?” he asked his sister. “nope, she said she wanted to walk around the lawn, her coat is still here, so I

guess she’s still there” dahae said. jungshin nod. minhyuk smirked and winked at him. “uhm dahae nuni, I would like

that coffee, and, uhm can you tell me something about, uhm, I need an advice on the girl..” minhyuk continued to talk

dahae in tow of him. Jungshin shook his head. Well minhyuk is clearly doing this just to divert dahae’s attention. He

decided to get jieun’s coat and go out.

Jieun look over the waters which is glistering with the low lights around it. the waters reflects the light posts, jieun

saw how magnificent it is at night. She remembered that she only saw it when the sun is high, it is more beautiful at

night. The cold breeze made her shiver. “should have brought my coat” she whispered. Suddenly a warm clothe

covers her. she look behind only to see jungshin putting the coat on her. “it’s chilly here” he said. she gave him a slight

bow “thanks” she murmured. She looked at the waters again. she looked at her left and saw a gazebo, “that’s new

right?” unconsciously she asked jungshin who stood behind her. “deh, mom wanted it for the wedding” he said. “who’s

wedding?” jieun asked mesmerized with the lights covering the gazebo, the plants that covers it, and the dangling

flowers. It is magical. “it was supposed to be our wedding” jungshin uttered. Jieun eyes widen, she blinked but that

still cant make her process what he just confessed. “bwo?” she looked at him, but that might be a mistake, she

instantly took a step back when she realized that jungshin is standing close to her. she almost fell but jungshin pulled

her to him. She landed on his chest, she gasped a little when she felt jungshin’s heart beat. It was beating fast and

loud. She tried to pulled away. But jungshin only held her tighter. “mom and dad thought that when I go back, I will

propose to you, but unfortunately, I acted stupid, and the rest his history” jungshin plant a kiss on her head. Jieun

gulp, trying to ease the lump on . She felt like crying. All those memories are coming back again. “you’re

right, the rest is history” she said pulling away from him.  She distance herself from her. “I don’t want to do the same

thing you did to me, junsu is nothing but so good to me, I can’t hurt him like how you hurt me, I am engaged to him”

jungshin stepped closer but jieun only step back again. “you are not inlove with him jieun, you love me” “yes” she

instantly replied. she look him in the eyes. “I love you, and I swear I still love you, you’re making it hard for me, after

I spend those years focusing with my family, my work and myself, here you are again, making me confuse. I used the

hurt you gave me to forget you but, I can’t erase that feeling from my heart, my mind says I did forget you, but my

heart tells the other thing.” she breathe to ease the heavy feeling. Jungshin reached for her but she move away again.

“please I don’t want to hurt junsu so please, I odn’t want to see you anymore” just like that she walk towards the

house.
