“good evening Mrs. Kim” ji eun greeted junsu’s mom, “I told you, call me omma, you’re like a daughter to me you

know that” Mrs. Kim smirk at junsu. Ji eun didn’t notice the exchange glance of them. “ah, deh, omma?” Mrs. Kim

laughed. “omma, where’s appa?” “he went to japan with your brother, something to do with business I think” junsu

nod. “so how was your work ji eun, I heard from my junsu that you are a private nurse now?” ji eun nod. “come on

let’s talk over dinner.” Mrs. Kim took ji eun’s hand and went to the dining table. They eat and talk. Ji eun always

spends time with Mrs. Kim, well to others it’s Dr. Kim, she stopped practicing her career 3 years ago when junsu and

junho started working at the hospital. “I heard you are doing this because you wanted to pursue medicine” “deh

omma,” Mrs. Kim looked at junsu and smiled meaningfully. “you know, if you just say so, we could just gave you a

scholarship so you can start already” “thank you but junsu oppa already asked me that but I refuse, I wanted to pay

for my studies” Mrs. Kim nod. she is so fond with ji eun. Suddenly junsu’s phone rang. “it’s from the hospital, excuse me

I’ll just answer it” junsu went to the living room to talk to the one who called.

Mrs. Kim peaked if junsu is far from them. then she looked at ji eun. “ji eun, what do you think of our junsu?” “he is a

good doctor, he is so good of what he does. A great son too” Mrs. Kim shook her head. “that’s not what I mean dear, I

mean what do you think of my junsu as a man” ji eun choke on her juice. “bwo?” ji eun asked in confusion. “I like you

for my son ji eun. And I think he likes you so much. You are the only girl he brought home to meet us” mrs. Kim smiled

at ji eun. Ji eun feels a little uneasy. She looked at junsu, he tilt his head a bit to see her and smiled. She smiled back.

then she turned to Mrs. Kim “omma, I.. I don’t uhmmm..” “are you dating someone else?” Mrs. Kim asked. “uhm, no,

but, we are best friends” ji eun looked at junsu again. he is not bad looking, actually he is cute, one of the most good

looking doctors in the hospital. He is so kind too, he is totally a catch but, she didn’t like him like that. he is like a

brother, her best friend. “give it sometime, you two look good together, and  I really like you, his appa too” ji eun

smiled she didn’t know what to say. “hey, what are you talking about?” junsu came in again making ji eun sighed in

relief inside. “nothing son, we are just talking about work, right ji eun?” Mrs. Kim winked at her. Ji eun just nod.

“don’t be a stranger ji eun you can visit me again anytime, and I’ll cook your favorite again” Mrs. Kim hugged ji eun. Ji

eun smiled after pulling away. She loves mrs. Kim but this is the first time she  felt awkward around her. “thanks

omma, I will surely visit again” she replied. mrs. Kim took her hand and pats it. “think about it dear” she said. “think

about what?” junsu asked. “its ladies talk son” Mrs. Kim said and say goodbye. “omma is being nosy again isn’t she?”

junsu asked seeing ji eun’s awkward grin. “what did she say?” “she says she thinks you like me” ji eun said, but then

after realizing what she said her eyes widen. “ani, ani. Omo!” ji eun blurted while slapping like a kid saying

bad words. She covered her face with her hands out of embarrassment. “chincha?” junsu was shocked too, and

cursing his mom’s nosiness. “what did you think about it?” he asked curious. ji eun chuckled. “we are bestfriends, I

thought its funny” ji eun said awkwardly, laughing to masked the nervousness. “yeah, it’s crazy right? Come on let’s

get you home, your brother might be looking for you” junsu said. ji eun looked at him and she can sense that his eyes

are sad. “thank you junsu for being a good friend” she said. junsu looked at her and smile faintly and nod before he

enters the car. ji eun frowns. Her heart beats faster. “what is this?” she asked before entering the car too.
