“are you sure about this jieun-ah?” jieun looked at her mother. “junsu have always been so good to me omma, to us”

she replied, they are on the garden of their new home. Her mother took her hand “jieun-ah, don’t you think you’re

being unfair to junsu doing this?” her mother looked at the ring on her hand. Jieun smiled. “omma, junsu is easy to

love” “do you love him?” “of course” “do you love him like the one you gave to jungshin?” she cant answer that. “I am

you mother and I know, how you are feeling, we may be apart for the longest time but I still know what you heart is

feeling.” Her mother pulled her into a hug, she didn’t realize that she’s been crying all awhile. “omma, I saw him again,

and it still hurts” jieun manage to say. “shh, it hurts because you still love him, did you two talk?” jieun can’t help but

to chuckle. “you and junsu asked me the same question omma” “because he knows you still have feelings for jungshin”

jieun sighed. “I didn’t want to run into him again in the hospital” she told her mom what happen to jungshin’s dad. “did

you see yoona there?” she shook her head. “I don’t need to know omma, it’s not my concern if they are still together

or not. I let him go 7 yrs ago” “what if it didn’t work out for them 7 yrs ago?” jieun looked at her mom. “don’t you

think you need a proper closure? You are both emotional back then and young, now that  I think you both are

mature and can talk nicely.”

“Dr. lee, Dr. Park is not here” the nurse said to jieun. “arasso, I’ll do his rounds” jieun put on her doctor’s coat, and

headed to Mr. Lee’s room. “oh, jieunah!” Mrs. Lee uttered. “good morning Mrs. Lee” jieun saw Mr. lee looking at her.

“how are you feeling Mr. Lee?” when she reached his side Mr. Lee took her hand. “thank you dear” he said. she smiled.

“I am glad that you’re okay” she said. “its nice to see you again jieun-ah” he said. “we miss you dear” Mrs. Lee said.

she just smiled again. suddenly jungshin entered the room, he was surprise to see jieun there. “about what happened

then..” “its all in the past Mr. lee” jieun cut mr. lee. “omo, is that an engagement ring dear?” Mrs. Lee asked. jungshin

walk towards the couch. “ ah, deh” jieun replied shyly. Mr. Lee glance at jungshin who busy himself with his Ipad.

“who is the lucky guy dear?” Mr. Lee asked still looking at jungshin. Jungshin met his dad’s stare and look back at his

Ipad. “uhm, he is a doctor too, I don’t know if you knew him, Dr. Kim Junsu” “oh, the son of the owner of this hospital,

I know him” mr. lee said.  “I should go, Dr. Park is not around so I’m doing his rounds” jieun said. Mrs. Lee walk

towards her and hugged her. “thank you again dear, and I’m so sorry about the past” she whispered. “it’s okay mrs.

Lee”.

“ji eun-ah” jieun stopped on her tracks when she heard jungshin called her. she carefully look back. “deh?” she asked.

“can we talk?” he is now on her side. Jieun can’t answer right away, “jieun-ah?” jungshin asked again. “okay” jieun

replied. as they are on the hospital’s rooftop, jieun cant stop playing with her ring, “so, you’re getting married huh?”

he asked. “yeah” she replied. “uhm, since when did you two started dating?” he asked, jieun sighed thinking this is

none of his business but she answered anyway. “a year” jungshin nod. a moment of silence was there again. “jieun, I’m

so sorry” jieun nod. “I don’t know why I’m here still talking to you after what I’ve done, but I just want to tell you

that I still…” “don’t” she stopped him. “I accept your sorry, but don’t say something else” she turned to walk away but

jungshin held her wrist. “jieun, I wa stupid back then, I never realize that it is you that I really love” “I told you, stop”

jieun tried to hide the crack on her voice. “junsu, I.. I’m engaged to him, I’m marrying him” she stuttered. Jungshin

pulled her for an embrace, the tears that she’s been fighting back are now falling down her face. “tell me you love him

and I will stop this, I miss you jieun, I love you” he said. jieun bit her lower lip while keeping her eyes shut. “I love

him.” She said. jungshin release her and looked at her eyes straight. “tell it to me straight” his tone is a bit higher

making jieun flinched. “what are you doing to her!” before jieun know it, jungshin is now lying on the floor. She looked

at junsu’s fierce eyes. “let’s go” junsu dragged jieun to the exit.
