“hey, shin, how’s your dad?” minhyuk asked. They are in the office, jungshin took over his dad’s position for his dad is

still recovering from the car accident. “he is fine now” minhyuk nod. “hey, uhm, yonghwa hyung will be back from the

states, he is asking if we could hang out tomorrow, tell your cousin to come” jungshin nod. “okay, I’ll tell him”

minhyuk looked at jungshin intently, “bro, is there something wrong with you? You look out of place” minhyuk asked.

Suddenly jungshin saw the images of jieun and junsu once again in his head, it kept him awake all night for the past 2

days. Whenever he visit his dad, he didn’t saw jieun even once on the hospital hallway, its like she is avoiding him. “I

saw her” he said he knows minhyuk will just kept on asking if he didn’t tell him. “jieun?” he asked. Apparently, he

knows, he is his best pal, and he and jieun have met on one of the company gala then. Jungshin nod. “did you talk to

her? how was she? Still mad at you?” minhyuk asked one question after another. “she’s a doctor now, she’s one of the

doctors who helped dad. She’s changed a lot. She’d moved on” the last part made his heart crushed. On those

sleepless nights, he cant admit to himself that she have moved on. He knows that it is so selfish of him, to think that

she still yearns for him. “well, what can I say, good for her then” minhyuk said. he cant blame minhyuk for saying

that, the guy knows what he did to jieun, and minhyuk was one of those people who was angry with him at first. “you

still hopes she loves you?” jungshin was stunned with that following question.

“jungshin, I know that you love her, though it only occurred when she let you go. I still think that what you did is

purely stupidity. I mean jieun was there for you before and after the operation. She didn’t asked you to like her back,

but you did and you ended up as a couple. You hurt her when you decided to pick yoona, which eventually, didn’t

work out. Now that she’d moved on, I think, just let her. she’s happy, your miserable, it’s the price to pay after what

you did” minhyuk said and left the room after patting jungshin’s shoulder. The guy is right. He didn’t have the right to

step into her world again, he hurt her big time. But his heart is yearning for jieun. It didn’t occur to him back then

when he saw yoona, he thought that he just learn to love jieun because she is always there for him, even he pushed

her away before, but when he lost her, when jieun let him go, his heart was left with her. he tried to focus on his

relationship with yoona though his parents were also angry with him. Most of all Mrs. Lee, his mother have guessed

why jieun all of a sudden broke up with him, his father was more disappointed at him as well, his sister, well, she was

the worse, she didn’t speak at him at all, to this day. Everyone is at jieun’s side. Which challenge him to prove them

wrong, but, one day he felt he is cheating himself to.

“I saw him” jieun said while junsu and her are eating at a restaurant. “I know” he replied. junsu saw jungshin last

night and he figure it out because jieun was always staying at the office, not her usual behavior. “so have you two

talk?” junsu asked trying to sound unaffected. “what’s there to talk about? Besides I gave Mr. Lee to yoochun sunbae,

he is attending their patient” jieun said then sip on her wine. “do you still love him?” junsu asked. Jieun shot him a look.

Then she look down on her steak. “its all in the past” she replied. junsu smiled faintly, that is not the answer he wants,

there then he knew. “I get it” he said. he suddenly kneeled infront of jieun. “oppa, what are you doing?” jieun asked,

looking around as she hear people murmured. “I have been thinking of this a lot jieun-ah, I know, we’re just a year

but, you know I have loved you since I first saw you lost on the university. I have loved you since we are just mere

bestfriends but this I know for sure, I want to spend my lifetime with you, So, Dr, Lee Ji eun, will you accept this ring,

and Marry me?” junsu looked at her intently, lovingly, jieun bit her lower lip, as she was looking around as if she’s

looking for some sign, her eyes caught someone, a tall, standing figure, at the other end of the restaurant. She saw

the hurt in his eyes, she closed her eyes and sighed. “Goodbye jungshin” she thought “yes!” she replied to junsu.
