“Taemin look a shooting star! Make a wish! Palle!”(a\n: not sure with the spelling but palle is faster in korean right?) Ellen said as she closed her eyes locking her hands together praying so hard.

“What did you wish for?” She immediately asked Taemin after she was done wishing.

“Well, I… Wait weren’t you the one who told me that wishes won’t come true when you tell them to somebody else?” He again, he loved teasing her, how she’d act mad, but it was obvious she was, and how he’ll tickle her when she wouldn’t give up.

“Where are they anyway?” Ellen asked looking around, it was a New Year, and they, with their friends decided to do something special, just to be different for once, since surprisingly their parents aren’t home for Christmas and New Year.

Taemin was about to stand up from the blanket they were sitting on, when Ellen pulled his jacket

“Tae~Min~” She said “Don’t stand up I’m cold” She added a pout

“Drop the act you don’t look cute” He laughed when she made a face “You are so adorable!” Taemin said as he pinched her cheek

“Yah! That hurts you know!” Ellen said as she rubbed the sore part. “You still haven’t told me what you wished for.” Ellen said as Taemin embraced her, making her feel warm by the heat of his body.

“Well I wished for lots of money and a more mature girlfriend” He joked but Ellen seemed to take the girlfriend thing seriously.

“Hey, I was just kidding. I love you just the way you are. Childish.” He said proudly, but Ellen, just remained silent.

“Taemin, why do you love me? I mean, there are a lot other prettier, smarter girls than I am, and really I mean waaaaaay more prettier.” She said emphasizing on way

“It’s just because I love you.”

“That’s not an answer” she said coldly,

“Hey chill… I’m not done yet…” Taemin said as he pulled her down, he was facing the stars, while Ellen’s head rested on his chest.

“Can you hear my heartbeat?” (a\n: IT’S BEATING FOR YOU :3) Taemin asked, she didn’t answer verbally but she nodded her head and Taemin felt that. “Maybe it’s because you’re you, I mean some girls have to act like this and like that, but you… You weren’t acting… How did I know? It was all natural and…” He continued as if he read her mind “My heart told me you were the one” Ellen looked up and got caught by Taemin’s eyes, even in the dark, she could see his brown eyes looking, gazing at her, smiling “And I wished that…What I really whished for was… ” He said as he sat up “I wished that I’d be your first kiss” Ellen stared at him for a moment then smiled,

“you could have just asked you know”

As their lips were about to meet each others, just less than an inch apart

“We’re here and we bought some – oops, sorry to interrupt your lip locking session” Seungri teased them as they saw what was about to happen “ooohhh… we should have came a little later or you two are just slow movers…” Krystal added grinning.

“I knew it, wishes won’t really come true when they’re told” Taemin said stretching his arms in the air

“Says who?” Ellen said as she pulled Taemin’s shirt and started kissing him, happily he kissed her back.

“My little Ellen has grown!” Minji exclaimed, making Ellen smile though her lips were still attached to his,

“10! 9! 8! 7!” Minho started to countdown when he saw the time

“6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!!!!” Everyone else joined him but the two just continued when different colors were exploding in the sky, there was a fireworks display, everyone else watched but the two? They parted for a while, foreheads on top of another, laughing, smiling, and giggling. They weren’t paying attention to their surroundings, nor the people around.

“Looks Like you’d have to meet my Unnie now.” Ellen said as she smiled at Taemin when they pulled away, now forehead to forehead “don’t worry she’s nice” she said,

“Sure…” Taemin said as he couldn’t stop himself anymore, a while ago it was him who was giving a kiss this time it’s Ellen’s turn to receive a kiss from him.

“annyeong haseyo, Lee Taemin – imnida” Taemin greeted Ellen’s sister as she entered the living room, at first glance she looks cold but she is really beautiful, but soon as she eases up and smiles, you’ll see how gorgeous she is,

“good morning I’m Park Kahi, or Gahee… Please take a seat” She said sweetly, but Taemin was so nervous he was shaking, and his voice was trembling, he kept on jumbling up the words.

“I’m sorry, I’m just really nervous right now” He confessed looking down ashamed of himself.

“Ellen would you go make us snacks?” Gahee said nicely to her dongsaeng as she smiled. With hesitation she stood up, excused herself, smiled at her unnie, then at Taemin.

As soon as she was gone, “Taemin, Ellen and I are half-sisters, but I love her very much like a whole. You must be very special, because you are the first boy to ever enter our house, I mean—“

“I know what you mean Ms. Gahee…”

“Call me noona” Kahi said smiling at him, making him feel at ease,

“Noona,” He repeated smiling at her “I’m sorry that we are just telling you know, actually, Ellen and I… We’ve been a couple for two months now. We weren’t hiding, it’s just that—“ Gahee held Taemin’s hand smiling, making him confused, he doesn’t know whether he should be happy or not,

“Please take care of Ellen, you’re her first boyfriend, first love, and I’m sure you’re very special. And of course, your relationship is widely accepted, even by our parents” Gahee smiled making Taemin grin widely, unknowingly, Ellen was nearby, listening to their conversation, smiling.

Everything between them seemed to all go smoothly, there was nothing that could separate them. Everything was going perfect, they’d fight at times but easily reunite again. Their friends and family approved about them. Everything was perfect. They had a good stable 5 year relationship, something not ordinary. It was like magic, they were this patient to wait for each other.

“Ellen don’t forget our dinner date later, I have something very important to tell you.” Taemin said as he talked to her thru the phone.

“Of course I won’t, I think I know what that is, but knowing you… That would probably be a real surprise. Okay I love you, bye.” Before Taemin

could answer she hung up on him. Then Taemin received a text message from Ellen a few seconds after,

“Don’t worry.

I’ll be there.

♥Ellen” It said.

It’s been 30 minutes since she texted, Taemin was getting more and more nervous as time flew.

“You are my first romance… and I’m willing to take a chance…” It was the band from the restaurant playing the song,

“Why does that song remind me of my relationship with Ellen?” Taemin thought.

“Wait, I think this is the song Ellen sings every time I’m sleeping…” Just then, his Phone started to ring, Before he could pick it up. He saw by the window, a girl in a white and black cocktail dress waving at him, she was a little far so he couldn’t clearly see the face, he just ignored it, but the girl was about to take a step when a huge truck was coming, as the truck passed by the girl disappeared.

Taemin checked the window again, looking for the girl, he was shocked to see no one but he shrugged it off.

“Yeoboseyo?”

“Is this the owner of the phone’s boyfriend?” It was a male voice, Taemin checked the caller ID “Future Mrs. Lee\Ellen” It said.

“Who are you?” Taemin asked angrily.

“Please sir, Come to KwonDongHo Hospital right away.”

Without asking anymore questions, Taemin immediately left.

“Are you Mr. Lee Taemin?” Taemin nodded his headed starring at the guys bloody shirt,

“I am Ok Taecyeon, the Taxi Ms. Park rented and…” Taemin suddenly grabbed his collar, though the other guy was way taller, he pulled him down to hid height level yelling right at his face.

“WHERE IS ELLEN?! WHAT HAPPENED?!”

“Well sir…” He started, shaking afraid of the raging Taemin,

“While on our way here, she stopped by some shop then two guys went in, then there were gunshots and the two men ran way holding guns they looked very shocked from what happened. I ran inside the shop and saw Ms. Park, she was bleeding so I took her here. She was saying your name the whole time and she was holding this box, never letting go. I’m guessing this is for you…” Taecyeon said handing the nicely wrapped box over.

“Lee Taemin! Yah! You idiot boyfriend of mine! 

Why did it take you five years to propose?

What if I didn’t wait for you this long?

Yah! Don’t laugh!

You think I didn’t know about that proposal of yours?

Do you know how glad I am to have met you?

I love you so much.

My wish 5 years ago is finally coming true

He couldn’t stop the flowing tears, the letter he read was hand written by her and it was dated that day, she wrote it in the morning. Opening the box he found a silver wrist watch and another note

“Eomma and Appa told me that if you gave a watch as a present it means that you always remember that person. I wanted to give you a wall clock but that won’t be right. Haha XD A wrist watch is better, so you can bring me I mean it anywhere XD”

He bent down banging the floor while Taecyeon tried pulling him up. “Sir, in my opinion she wouldn’t want to see you being like that right now, and let us pray that she’ll be okay.” Taemin paused, and looked at him with pitiful eyes,

“She’ll be alright, ne? She will be fine! If not… I… I…. just please call these these numbers.” He said handing his phone

“Taemin we’re here!” It was Krystal’s voice, “Taemin, she’ll be okay” Minji said trying to comfort the Taemin who seemed to be so lost in his own world “She will be fine. She’s a strong girl, believe that she will be fine.” Minji added as, she and Krystal hugged him for comfort. He just remained silent.

“What’s taking them so long?” SeungRi complained as he walked back and forth, irritated. “Come on man, stop it. You’re making them feel worse” Minho said as he hugged Krystal, who was quietly praying

“Excuse me, who here is Mr. Lee Taemin?” A man in white stepped out from the emergency room, he wasn’t smiling nor did he announce anything

“I am!” Taemin said as he stood up from his sit looking intently at the doctor waiting whether he would say if she’s dead or okay.

“The patient wants to see you” He said, still not smiling it gave everyone present chills, wondering if that was good or bad. Taemin’s eyes widened and hurriedly went in the room where Ellen was lying down, he was terribly shocked when he saw her dress, it was exactly the same as from the girl he saw while at the restaurant.

“Ellen… Ellen-ah, I’m here” He said as he held her hand kissing it repeatedly. From the oxygen mask she tried speaking normally but she was too weak

“Taemin… I’m sorry I… You’re wearing it” She said smiling as she saw the watch.

“Ellen you’ll be alright, ne?” He said as tears we’re building up in his eyes,

“Taemin… I…”

“Wait…sssshhhh…” He said as he smiled, tears gently flowing from his eyes, “Ellen,” he said as he took something from his pants’ back pocket,

“Will you marry me?”

She didn’t reply but she smiled as a tear rolled down from her eye. Taemin gently slipped the ring down her finger. She smiled lifting her hand admiring the ring, how beautifully it goes with her hand. How perfect it would have been.

“Taemin, I love you, remember that always.” She said as she closed her eyes.

From outside, the four were supposed to follow Taemin, but the doctor stopped them saying “It will be a lot more difficult for the patient” He said.

“What do you mean by ‘a lot more difficult’?” Asked Minho,

“Well as you can see, patients like her… they, they will go after talking to their most important person.” The doctor said looking away,

“Don’t mess with us!” Minji yelled as she grabbed the doctor’s collar pushing him to the wall, Krystal, Seungri and Minho tried pulling the hysterical Minji. The doctor said nothing.

“It’s the truth just please accept it” Seungri whispered to Minji.

“NO! I CAN’T ACCEPT IT! I DON’T WANT TO ACCEPT IT!” She yelled as Krystal hugged her

“Minji calm down! Please!”

“This is a joke right? This isn’t true! This… This is just a nightmare! I need to wake up!” Without further more words, Krystal suddenly slapped Minji

“LISTEN TO ME GONG MINJI! THERE’S NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT! YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONE AFFECTED!” Krystal yelled as she too, was crying hard. “WHAT ABOUT TAEMIN? DON’T YOU THINK THAT MAYBE IT WOULD BE A LOT MORE DIFFICULT FOR HIM! MINZY, IF YOU THINK YOU’RE TAKING THIS HARD, WELL TAEMIN IS TAKING IT HARDER! IN LIKE-WHAT A FEW MINUTES HE’LL BE SEEING HOW THE GIRL HE LOVED FOR ALMOST 6 YEARS WILL DIE IN FRONT OF HIM! FROM HIS VERY OWN EYES! I care about her too, but she wouldn’t want to see us like this, maybe… maybe that’s the reason why she only wanted to see Taemin!” All eyes we’re fixed on her, on Krystal. “Minji… There’s nothing we can do anymore, I’m not telling this because I don’t care, I’m telling this because it the truth, and I care very much. I just don’t want Ellen to go regretting.” She said as she bent down hugging Minji.

“Please Minji just—“

“NOOOOOO! ELLEN! WAKE-UP! ELLEN!” From the inside they could hear Taemin shouting, yelling.

“Oh no…” Seungri said as they rushed inside,

“She’s… she’s gone…” Minji said as she and Krystal hugged Taemin while the other two guys were silently crying.
