Chapter 2; Scary Looking Uncle Jjong

The Adolescent Adventures of Onew Appa and Baby Taemin

When Taemin fell asleep, soon after, Jinki did too. Taemin refused to let him go so Jinki had a baby attached to him the whole time he was sleeping. They were sleeping peacefully, that is until the door burst open with a loud bang.

"YAH! WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU IN SCHOOL TODAY?!" Someone yelled, startling Jinki and Taemin. Jinki shot up, still holding on to Taemin but Taemin started throwing a fit. His face was still red from crying so much earlier and it got even worse. Jinki sighed and got up again, trying to calm Taemin down.

"Oh my God, Onew! You had a kid and didn't tell us?!" Key asked, closing the door behind him.

"No wonder you don't go out a lot." Jonghyun added.

"He's not my kid. He's my nephew." Jinki said, wiping the tears from Taemin's face. Jonghyun set their backpacks down on the couch and Key went over to Jinki.

"Hi baby~" Taemin looked at Key and calmed down. His cries turning into tiny hiccups and sniffles. He put his head back down on Jinki's neck and stared at Key. Key reached over and brushed Taemin's hair out of his eyes.

"What's your name?" Taemin clutched Jinki and buried his face on his neck.

"Look at him. He needs to take a shower and he looks hungry." Key said.

"I know, but when I got him he wouldn't stop crying."

"What's his name?"

"Taemin."

"How old is he?"

"2."

"Hi baby~ Do you want to take a bath?" Taemin stared at Key again, still clutching onto Jinki. Key held his hands out and smiled at Taemin.

"Come on. Umma will give you a bath." Key said. Taemin hesitated at first but he allowed Key to carry him upstairs.

"ONEW! Bring up his clothes!" Key yelled from the bathroom. Jinki scratched the back of his head and sighed.

"Jeez, not even a 'please'." After Taemin finished his bath, Key dressed him up in a blue t-shirt and black shorts. Key carried him downstairs and put him down once they reached the bottom. Taemin immediately ran to Jinki and hugged his legs. Jinki kneeled down and petted Taemin's head.

"Are you feeling better now?" Jinki asked. Taemin flashed him a smile and nodded, wrapping his arms around Jinki's neck to give him a hug.

"Are you hungry?" Taemin nodded and held his arms out, telling Jinki to carry him. Jinki picked him up and gave him his teddy bear. They went to the kitchen and saw Jonghyun taking out the plates and setting them on the table. Jinki took his seat with Taemin still clinging onto him. The whole dinner consisted of Jinki explaining how he got Taemin and Key scolding him for not calling earlier. Jinki fed Taemin a ham and cheese sandwich until Taemin was full and gave him his milk bottle. The whole time Taemin ate, he just stared at Jonghyun.

"That's Uncle Jjong, baby." Key said. Taemin turned away and hid his face on Jinki's neck.

"What's wrong, Taeminnie?" Jinki asked. 

"Taeminnie is scared of dinosaurs." Jinki and Key burst out in laughter, while Jonghyun sulked in the corner.

"I don't look like a dinosaur." Jonghyun mumbled. Key took Taemin's bottle away once he was halfway through.

"Aah...Ah...Umma..." Taemin whined.

"Sorry, baby. We don't want you getting to full or you might end up puking it all out." Key took Taemin's bag and took out a blue pacifier. Taemin gladly took it to replace his milk bottle. It took a while but eventually Taemin warmed up to Jonghyun, but not after about 10 minutes of crying and practically choking Jinki. After a kiss and a hug goodbye from Taemin, Jonghyun and Key bid their goodbyes. Taemin rubbed his eyes and yawned.

"Are you sleepy?" Taemin nodded against Jinki's neck. Jinki made sure the doors were locked and turned off the lights before heading up to their room. He put the sleepy Taemin down on his bed and changed into a plain white T-shirt and red boxers. After, he lied down beside Taemin and gave him his milk. Taemin held the bottle with one hand and clutched Jinki's shirt with the other one.

"Goodnight, Taeminnie. Sweet dreams."

"Night, Appa" Taemin said, half asleep.

Jinki waited until Taemin fell asleep before putting the covers over both of them. Jinki gave Taemin a quick peck on the forehead before falling asleep himself.

Maybe taking care of Taemin wouldn't be so bad after all...

Guys...it's 5:45 A.M. where I live right now and I haven't gotten any sleep. I'll look over it after a decent rest. Sort of a short chapter. Either that or I just made the font too small :P

Chapter 18: I know how you feel. I've undergo the same crisis too. I'm proud of you because you have the gut to do all of that. For me, I really really wanna pursue in engineering but then my dad said no to engineering idk why and now here in am in biotechnology. I wish i had some of your courage. I constantly regret for taking this course :/ at least you wont feel like this

p/s: sorry for my poor english, im half asleep now

Chapter 18: Do what you want to do! Thts the most important thing. Your parents love you and will most likely come to accept your choice. You cant go by your parents rules forever ( and i know that sounds like a bad thing but everyone has to do it at some point) dont be scared to tell them. Even if they get mad and yell at you. Just remember that they will ALWAYS love you. No matter if you dont become a nurse or teacher. Things will calm fown eventually. And just remember being depressed is not healthy at all so you need to fix that pretty fast. I hope this helped. Feel better!

Chapter 18: omg baby girl! i get depression every year at university -_-; i cant imagine how hard for it to be doing something you dont even like. i really wish you didnt need to but you need to tell your parents. its only gonna get harder as time passes. where are you staying right now? they're gonna be disappointed and probably mad, but you might need to live with them for a while or in the future and its always not a good idea to sour relationships with your parents when we're still young and we still sort of need them. anyway, you should just rest for a while, and just get yourself feeling better before deciding whether you want to go to college again next semester for computer science which would lead to software designing (im guessing). you dont have to plan now because you'd probably freak out but when you feel motivated to research some more, definitely do it!
but just rest! take some time off! everyone needs it and even if you just end up on tumblr or youtube watching shinee videos eating chips, if it makes you happy, just do it! :) and of course, i am happy to keep talking ;D

Chapter 18: oh my gosh, why would we ever think to kill you? what you're going through right now is something a lot of others do too. you are not alone. if you feel like game designing is what you truly want to do then by all means go for it.
I know you are going through a lot of pressure right now but I hope you can muster up the courage to talk to your parents. maybe try talking to other people first - to help you gain a little confidence before telling them.even if you aren't planning on telling them now, talk to somebody, don't keep your worries to yourself. you'll be surprised at how much it'll help.
your parents are likely to be unhappy with your job choice because they are worried for your future and whether this career will help you get through life, but if you show them that you are passionate and dedicated to the job and that you are truly happy while doing it, i'm sure they will soon change their minds.

Chapter 18: As much as i love this story, it's not important right now. You need to speak to your parents and tell them how you feel. I know it's going to be hard, but ask them why they think being a teacher and being a nurse is a good job. Is it because it is well-paid? Good hours? An industry where you'll never be unemployed? Because for most reasons, the source is because they want you to be happy. You need to make them realize that though you really appreciate it, them forcing you to fit into their definition of a perfect worker is making you extremely unhappy. They have to realize that their actions, in which they think will make you happy, are actually making you depressed. The fact that you are questioning your life is not what a parent is supposed to make you feel. You need to speak to them about this and I know it won't be easy, but it will be worth it.

Chapter 18: I think it's good that you did something for yourself instead of blindly following what your parents wanted you to do because what's most important is what YOU want since it is YOUR life after all and not theirs, you should be making such decisions... I know it's scary not knowing what you're going to do next after dropping out but I'm sure you'll find something that you love eventually :D Take it from someone in their third year of university... College is not for everyone and it's not all it's cracked up to be, you dodged a major bullet imo LOL xD So good luck in the future, author-ssi... But anyway, I'm looking forward to the corrections you're making to the fic and your next update ;D

Chapter 18: You should always know, you did the right thing dropping out; if you love your job you will never have to work a day in your life. I'm proud of you for doing what you think is right. (Pm me if you need someone to talk too- I will always help where I can)

Chapter 17: can i just hug you and love you for being such a precious writer and for making this precious story ! <3 Onew is just the sweets of all and Taemin is just a cutiepie. i LOVE all the mooments and interactions between all characters ! i give you my thumbs up !
