I was relieved when I saw Omma’s face when she came to visit me that evening. She held me near her chest for a long time and kissed my head. I felt like crying so badly but I didn’t because she started to cry when she pulled away and looked at me straight into my eyes.

“My poor son. My poor son.” She kept saying it.

“I’m okay Omma.” I said, patting her back.

Hoya’s parents came too. His mum hugged him tightly but his dad just watched them for a moment before he too came over to him and hugged him. I think Hoya tear up a little when he did, because he kept scratching his ear. He talked to his mum mostly and his dad was just grunting here and there.

My mum told me I could go home with her when the doctor said it was okay to go home. CEO-hyung told her so. I told her I will do just that. I made her leave early because I didn’t want to make her worry too much.

When our parents left, Hoya leaned against his pillow in sitting position and stared ahead him.
