It had been three days and Mei Li and Anne have gotten used to living with EXO. They haven’t necessarily gotten used to the huge house yet, but they had a daily routine now. Anne would wake up to find Mei Li already awake in the kitchen with Ayi, arguing about who should make breakfast and who should sleep more. Next, she’d look around the house for EXO, but end up finding her mom sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sometimes all of the above. If Mei Li had lost the argument to Ayi, she'd look for her mom and help her clean instead. If Ayi had lost, she'd find their mother and scold her for doing chores. Sometimes, Anne suspected their kindness.

Anyways, Anne would eventually find a few members of EXO. Kris and Luhan were usually up before her, but Luhan would be too busy trying to get some alone time with Mei Li. He always failed though.

The rest of the members of EXO slept until Ayi called them for breakfast. Xiumin would suddenly be wide awake whenever that happened.

Consequently, Anne spent most of her mornings talking to Kris. She never chose to talk to him, he was always the only option…and today was also one of those mornings.

He had connected his laptop to the TV, so the new show 'The Romantic & Idol' was playing on the wide screen. Anne sat down next to him with her legs up, resting her chin on her knees. "No subs?" she asked.

"Nope, not out yet," he replied.

She sighed. "Why can't I be Korean..." she mumbled.

He heard it and chuckled. "Hey, I'm not Korean either, remember?"

"Oh yea..." she smiled sheepishly. "Was it hard to learn?"

He thought about it. "Well, you might get frustrated at times, but in the end it's all worth it."

She blinked repeatedly. "What's that supposed to mean..."

He laughed and looked at the clock on the wall. "Well, we still have a while until breakfast. Want me to give you your first lesson right now?"

She turned to face him, surprised. "Huh? Right now?"

"Yea, why not?" he smiled.

"Really? Thanks, Kris! I mean, kamsihamnida!" she beamed.

He chuckled, "It's kamsahamnida."

She pouted. "Close enough..."

He ruffled her hair. "Well come on, kiddo. Let's go up to my room then."

They went up and he opened the door to his room. The first thing Anne saw was Xiumin lying on his belly on the bed, his arms to the side. "Yikes," Kris whispered, "I think he just ruined his image."

Anne giggled softly.

"On second thought, let's go back downstairs. I forgot this pig was sleeping," Kris said, grabbing a few books and papers and pens.

"Okay," Anne nodded.

They went back to the living room and set everything on the coffee table. "Okay," he sat down, "let's get started."

"Ayi, I'll cook today, you made breakfast yesterday!" Mei Li exclaimed, trying to keep Kris’s mom from taking the spatula out of her hands.

"Mei Li, how many times have I told you, you're the guest in the house!" Ayi countered.

"And how many times do I have to say that the guest shouldn't just sleep all day doing nothing?" Mei Li raised an eyebrow.

"But sleeping is something!" Ayi retorted stubbornly.

Mei Li laughed. "Ayi!”

"No, now—"

"Did you know that mom asked Kris for your membership card and went to Costco to buy groceries?" Mei Li cut her off, deciding to tattletale
