Cars were honking at Anne as she ran across the streets, ignoring traffic lights. She was surprised she had made it. I guess the world doesn't hate me that much.

She ran for around fifteen minutes and got tired. She was already panting heavily and her clothes were completely soaked. And to make it worse, she was wearing a shear, coral pink shirt.

She stopped running and bent down, putting her hands on her knees, panting for air. Thank goodness I'm not wearing shorts and tights today. Her phone vibrated in her pocket and she took it out to find out her mother was calling.

She shoved it back into her jeans pocket and looked at her surroundings. She had no clue where she was. She wasn't so far out though, so if she just went in the direction of where she came from, she would be able to find Costco again. However, she didn't want to. She didn't want to go back to her mom and Mei Li.

She saw a small park nearby and walked over to it. Her legs were tired and aching now, and she was also shivering like crazy. She would've climbed up into the play structure where there would be a roof over her head, but she simply had no energy left. She forcefully made her way to the swings and slumped down. Life .

"I don't know...honestly I don't always remember. I mean, she really seems like my real sister. And to me, well, she is," Mei Li smiled.

She checked her phone. "Mom?"

"Mei Li! Anne disappeared!" her mother exclaimed.

"What? Didn't you go home early?" Mei Li asked, shocked.

"Yes, but we went to Costco together and I can't find her anymore!"

"Wait, you're at Costco? Where exactly?"

"At the corner with all the ricebags," she replied.

Mei Li walked out of the aisle, took a look around, and spotted her. "Mom!" she yelled, hanging up the phone.

Her mother turned around and saw her, putting her phone away. "Mei Li!"

Luhan followed behind, pushing the cart. "Oh, uhm, nice to meet you," he bowed to her.

She looked mesmerized by Luhan for a second, but quickly refocused. "She was supposed to be here in this section, but I can't find her anywhere!"

"Mom, are you sure she didn't just get lost in the store?" Mei Li asked carefully.
