They left the practice room and headed to the private 'parking lot' where the public couldn't enter or see unless they opened the front gate to go out. "Wait..." Xiumin stopped in his tracks, "we can't all fit in our manager's van."

"That's okay, we can just split up. I'll just take the car I used earlier to pick Mei Li up," Jessica replied, unwinding her arm out of Mei Li's.

"I'm coming with you then, unnie!" Mei Li shouted, letting go of Luhan's hand to run over to her.

Jessica looked back at Luhan to see that he was pouting. Haha Mei Li, you're so innocent that you don't even see the disappointment in your boyfriend's eyes just from letting go of his hand. He's got it baddddd for you. "Luhan, you can come too if you want," she shouted over to him.

His expression immediately lit up until Mei Li spoke, "No! I want to talk to unnie alone!"

"Okay, but do you guys know the way to our dorm? We're going to go there first to shower and change," Chen asked.

"Yea, I got it," Jessica replied when Mei Li turned to her.

Jessica glanced over at Luhan and he was frowning again, so she nudged Mei Li, signaling her to look over at him. Mei Li followed her gaze and saw Luhan's expression as he slowly followed the others with deflated shoulders. However, Mei Li turned back to Jessica, oblivious as to what she meant. "Why's he so sad all of a sudden?" she asked her innocently.

Seriously...? Jessica let out a laugh at her naïveté. "He wants to be with you. Once you let go of his hand, he started pouting."

She stared back at her with a blank expression, blinking her eyes, "Oh."

"Why don't you just let him come with us?" Jessica asked her, honestly wondering why.

"Oh, because I need to talk to you in private, unnie!" Mei Li replied, grinning.

Jessica raised her eyebrow, but gave in and sighed. "Well I think you should go say something to him before we leave."

"Mmmm okay!" she cheered and ran over to her boyfriend.

Did I do something wrong or something? Why is she avoiding me whenever she can? He sighed and slowly headed to the van with the others. "Wait!" a voice yelled.

He turned to the side to see Mei Li running over to him. She looked around to make sure no one was watching. The members were already in the van, fighting over the seats, and Jessica was standing far away, leaning against her car, looking in a different direction.

Mei Li took both of his hands and held them, gently swinging them around. "Oppa, why do you look so sad?" she asked, frowning.

The minute she took his hands, his lips threatened to twitch into a smile, but he immediately pouted again. "Are you mad at me?" he asked her. "I did something wrong, didn't I?"

"What? Why would I be mad?" she asked back with a confused expression.

"Because it seems like you're avoiding me today, and hiding something," he answered honestly, sighing.

Surprisingly, she giggled, "Oppa! You're worrying too much."

He looked away from her and bit his lip nervously, "I'm just worried I'm going to lose you one day..."

He could feel her staring at him with a shocked expression. Suddenly, he felt her arms wrap around his waist and her head lean against his chest. He could already smell the scent of strawberries coming from the shampoo she uses in her hair.

On instinct, he s his arms around her back and laid his head on hers, savoring the moment that probably wouldn't happen again any time soon, considering how they'd never be alone.

He felt her take a huge breath slowly, and let it out. "Why would you be worried, oppa? I told you, I'm the one who should be worrying about that."

He opened his mouth to say something, but got cut off. "I know. You're going to tell me the exact opposite of what I just said. So how about we both stop worrying, hm?"

"OH WOULD YOU TWO JUST SEPARATE SO WE CAN GO NOW?" Xiumin opened the door of the van and shouted at them.

Upon seeing his face pop out of the car and hearing his loud voice, Mei Li instantly let go and stood up straight. Xiumin slammed the door shut again before they could even answer him.

Luhan looked over at Mei Li and saw the tinge of pink on her cheeks. Well that was fast, expected, but still fast.

She looked around at everything, refusing to look Luhan in the eyes again, embarrassed. "Haha, alright alright, I'll stop worrying once your cheeks turn back to their normal colour," he teased before quickly giving her a peck on her cheek. "I'll go first before the others kill me. Go to Jessica noona, she's still waiting for you."

And with that, he jumped into the van before she could smack him again for teasing her about her red cheeks.

He grabbed the last available seat which was in the back, and their manager speedily drove off. Through the back window, he caught sight of Mei Li giving herself a face-palm before gently slapping her cheeks in attempt to change the colour. This is why you make me worry, you're so cute that any guy would fall for you. He thought back to the day we had saved her from one of her 'fan boys.’ If only other guys weren't attracted to you at all. He spun back to face the front and smiled.

Meanwhile, Mei Li was still standing there, replaying the words Luhan had said to her. Aigoo, this is what I get for 'comforting' him, grrrrr.
