Hao xiang, shen me dou bu dong de yi ge hai zi yi yang, chun zhen chong sheng, na ge mei li de shun jian.
Mei Li immediately sat up straight, wincing in pain from getting up too fast. She had purposely set the alarm on her phone a little later. As she expected, Luhan had already gone downstairs for breakfast without waking her up again. She quickly showered and put on a blue off-the-shoulder sweater and black leggings. She didn't bother doing her hair and just left it down. After applying some concealer and lip gloss, she rushed downstairs to the dining room. Everyone was eating already.
"Noona, over here!" Tao waved her over to the seat between him and Luhan.
She went towards them and sat down. "I was going to bring you food after I was done eating but I guess I don't have to now!" he said, while eating a banana.
"Haha, well thanks for the thought," Mei Li smiled.
Tao nodded and grinned. Kris put more food on Tao's plate, causing him to whine and fuss. There was a bowl of fruits placed in the middle, so Mei Li grabbed some strawberries and placed it on Luhan's plate, since they were his favourite fruit – not just because he called her strawberry.
"Eat up, oppa,” she said.
Without a glance at her, Luhan got up from his seat and left. "I'm done so I'll leave first. I'll be back when we have to go later.
Mei Li’s smile faltered and she let out a sigh. He's still mad. Tao stopped arguing with Kris and took the strawberries from Luhan's plate, plopping them into his mouth. "It's hyung's lost! Mine now!" he mumbled while chewing.
Kris gave up and rolled his eyes at him. "Hey! I was going to take them!" Xiumin glared at Tao.
"Mehrong," Tao stuck his tongue out, swallowing the last of them.
Chen gave his strawberries to Xiumin so they wouldn't fight.
He then turned to Mei Li. "Did you and Luhan have a fight or something? He wasn't saying anything at all."
"He's been like that for days now that I think about it," Lay added.
Should I tell them? Of course! Why shouldn't I? They should know. "Uh...yea, you could say that..." Mei Li trailed off. I don't think I should say it now though. It might be a big misunderstanding anyways.
"Don't worry, you know Luhan. He'll get over whatever it is eventually," Kris reassured her, shoving a grape into Tao's mouth when the maknae was about to say something.
Mei Li frowned the whole time as she ate, shoulders deflated. Tao could sense her mood and tried to cheer her up by playing around with the food, making funny faces with them. She appreciated his attempts and forced a smile when he did so, but it didn't help.
She kept telling herself that Luhan wasn't being serious, but deep down, she knew this was different – something was wrong. But the only way to get through the day was to believe otherwise, so she put her whole focus into doing so.
The rest of them finished eating and went to the lobby. Luhan had gone down and waited there for them like he said he would. They all got into the van and drove off – Mei Li rode in a separate car with the stylists.
Luhan was sitting in the back seat with Tao and Xiumin while Lay and Chen sat in the middle, and Kris sat i
